The Tennessee @ Alabama record was 9-26... It's a pretty big deal we've beat them knowing how bad we've done in the past.

My agenda is for the team I follow to have a good coach, your agenda is to be Martin's publicist. You seem to care more about rescuing Martin's image than his actual product put out for UT.

In case the reading is a challenge here, it says I have been a member since 2009 and I actually posted quite frequently a few years ago. I said last year that Martin wasn't good enough and that he isn't worth keeping around.

And what exactly is supposed to happen in March that is going to change my tune?

Exactly. That's the way they do it. How about follow and cheer for the damn team instead of constantly b****ing about the coach all the time.

After the season is over we'll see what happens. What good does it do when we have 10 games left and are playing well?

Never said anything about Pearl. Ever.

And, making the tournament? That's it? That's a success? That's a minimum for this team and the fact that you think that is a real accomplishment is indicative of your cheerleader status as opposed to a real basketball person.

And, Martin can win my support by making my Vols a solid program that reaches its potential by actually making some noise in the tournament. I'll hold my breath.

How about supporting the program by demanding a good coach? How about stop being a lackey for an underachieving coach bringing the program down to mediocrity?

especially when it's foresight that has been discussed here since early in year 1, and could've been the difference in us making the ncaa tourney last year. Many were frustrated CM wouldn't do whatever it took schemewise to win a game.

How about the team overachieved last year and the year before. This year hasn't gone as expected but The Vols still look to be a tourney team. I go to UT so don't talk to me about not supporting the program.

Ridiculous. Your lack of objectivity to each and every situation is almost artistic. You know posters have been talking about zone for 2 years and took part in the debates. You and Z didn't like the idea. Pretty much everybody else did. Its in the past but "link?" doesn't look good there. Too much pride to admit we should've been doing this a long time ago, and probably could've pulled out an extra win or two last year to get to the tourney. Maybe we make that move last year so we aren't in position to get "screwed" by the committee?

I said multiple times, especially going into this year, I would like to see some zone when Thompson is out there.

If you noticed Richardson took releford from the tip because coaches knew Thompson couldn't stick with him. Starting the 2nd half, oserbah or whatever the Belgiums guy name was took Thompson, and releford was beating Richardson. Martin switched to the 1-3-1 which turns Thompson from a below average defender, to a very good defender real quick.
