Its looking more and more like we are going to have to beat either Florida or Kentucky in the SEC tourney to be a sure bet for the NCAA's...not sure I like our chances. Too many teams are making pushes at the wrong time. We dont have any room for error. A predicament this team is use to this time of year...

Bracket Matrix only has us in 44 of the 89 brackets presented...not sure just a Friday win gets us in definately. I believe a solid case would be made if we could get to the Finals in the SEC tourney. Not sure a top 50 RPI means were a lock. Hell Arkansas is in the 50's and theyre in 77 of the 89 brackets...Good enough for ya???

A tip for bracket matrix is you have to look at dates updated.

No, not good enough. Our RPI is in the 40s, not 50s for starters.

Beating Missouri Saturday, and then a decent opponent in our opening SECT game would likely be more than enough. And what if Florida or UK get knocked off? Then we can't get in unless we win it all in your opinion?

I do believe the way this team is gelling right now, they have a legitimate shot at winning the SEC tournament...we need wins!!!

Lol, Because of there SOS. Ours is at 14 & frankly a win Saturday gives us another win over a top 50 RPI opponent.

We shouldn't care what any other team does at this point but ours.

Easy way to look at it is....winning games is priority....teams like Virginia winning is just icing on the cake.

My bad, by top 50 I mean 46 right now...and if we finish 21-12 thats more than likely where we stay correct??? You cant tell me that only 2 top 50 wins gives us a solid case can you??? No matter what route we take, making the SEC Championship game would be the only way voters would put us over the top...

I disagree, but ok.

And winning Saturday would be a 3rd quality win, and if Arkansas keeps winning there's a 4th quality win.

Couldnt disagree more...just because we beat Missouri, doesnt mean we get another top 50 win. They more than likely drop below that 50 line if they lose to us. And just because we like our chances to get in with 1 win in the tourney, doesnt mean these jackasses wont hesitate to put Cal, Minnesota, Nebraska, Providence, Dayton or BYU ahead of us on Selection Sunday. Some of you so called experts seem to think were in if we win 1 game in the SEC tourney...but I really believe we need to make the SEC Championship game to be a 'lock'. I dont put much stock in the saying 'should be'...
