And just because we like our chances to get in with 1 win in the tourney, dot mean these jackasses wont hesitate to put Cal, Minnesota, Nebraska, Providence, Dayton or BYU ahead of us on Selection Sunday. Some of you so called experts seem to think were in if we win 1 game in the SEC tourney...but I really believe we need to make the SEC Championship game to be a 'lock'. I dont put much stock in the saying 'should be'...

All im gonna say is lets just keep on winning (Mizzou wont be a quality win after Saturday and Arkansas may not either)...this win 1 sec tourney game is b.s. to me...ill FIRMLY believe we make it in if and only if we make the sec championship game

We should get the double bye. Right now, It looks like we'll play ARKY. If they win out that would be 3 quality wins and if we beat them again that would be 4 also, a win Saturday would be 5.

Because there is truth in what im saying...You wanna sweat your ass off come Selection Sunday, then keep that mentality of win 1 in the tourney but lose on Saturday and your in...Im sorry, but Xavier and Mizzou arent necessarily locks for the tourney, therefore i.m.o. arent quality wins. You add a 'W' against either Florida or Kentucky (look what it did for Arkansas sweeping Kentucky) then you have a very strong case...

I think we can make a run in the SEC tourney...but thats only because we seem to have found an identity that works...Maymon has found his role when he is on the floor...We no longer have to rely on McRae...Barton needs more playing time, but has made such a huge impact as of late...and DAMN STOKES!!!!

Took this with a grain of salt but if we get to 20 wins RPI forcecast has us at a lowest of 45 & that's with a loss.

I saw Maymon making cuts he hasn't made all year. That spin move though. I can't hang my hat on Barton he's inconsistent... McRae has lost his shot he got benched with 8 mins left

We need Georgia to lose Saturday...I want that 3 seed. Plus could you imagine how many UT fans will travel to ATL if we win Saturday!!! Could be like a home game for us...Man I really like our chances as a 3 seed on a neutral court in the SEC tourney...I want us to win on Friday and Saturday...a win on Sunday would be a huge bonus

Barton brings more to the table than Thompson...Problem with McRae is he takes too many quick shots, interrupts chemistry i.m.o. Love the dude as a player, not knocking him...and i seen passes made tonight that i dont remember seeing in a while. Missed the Vandy game cause i had to work, but I heard we moved the ball well in that game too...

I would prefer to avoid Arky 1st round, they are the hottest team in the league right now not named Florida. On the other hand, I like our chances vs UK in a potential 2-3 matchup. So I'm really hoping Georgia screws up vs LSU, much better SECt draw for us imo

I'm not knocking Barton I just don't wanna get my hopes up. He made some sick passes inside to stokes tonight. We had good chemistry tonight. I liked the flow. Vandy game was very similar to the Virginia game. McRae seems to get frustrated when his shot doesn't drop. He was 3-5 then got a contested 3 and went all drama queen and he missed the next 4. He's my favorite player but he's got to learn how to constrain the emotions.

I've been to so many SEC tourneys when I thought we could do some damage and end up like most Vol fans, very disappointed. I hope we can just win the first game. :)

Looking at rpiforecast and they now say a win Saturday and RPI is 43. Looking at other teams ahead of us, if the cards fell right we could sneak up to about 40.

Have to agree with most of what you've said.
1 win in tourney keeps us on the Bubble.
2 wins would jump the RPI into the 30s and most likely a 10 seed or better.
I'd prefer to get 3 seed in conference and run the table. remove all doubt.

Running the table might get us a 7 seed, that would be sweet
