Dad didn’t buy all that gear. It’s a loaner given to the recruit to wear for the weekend. Gave it back at the end of the weekend. It wasn’t in the suitcase like he told VQ. Kids are given all kinds of gear to wear while they are on their visit.

Did he have some interest in UT? Probably. But that whole visit, the tweets about how good the visit was, dad in orange, and the UT shirt this morning are all about making a splash when he commits to USC.

Don’t set yourself up for disappointment here. Appreciate the ones we get, like Norwood, who is fulfilling a lifelong dream today.

Not sure how that makes a splash, it's already assumed he stays out West. Not exactly a signing day shocker if he chooses USC. But he's mentioned leaving Cali many times so he's not a lock to stay in Cali. I don't think e get him but he's not hell bent on staying in Cali like Griffin and other Cali kids.

I prefer waiting till the last recruit has announced before going on a lynching spree. We've signed 3 3* guys and a *4 so far today. Not sure where you're getting your number crunching at. And there's still 6-7 more opportunities to get players. *4 Gooden is signing with us so that's a couple *4's right there plus *4 Peterson. By most North American counting scales that a very minimum of 3 *4 star guys right now. Copeland,Young and IST still have to announce too. It's a little too soon to go into needing to be medicated mode. I can promise you I live,eat and sleep Vol football as much as any die hard fan. But I prefer taking the high road and letting things play out and finish before having to call paramedics and shrinks in. Just saying!

You are correct, I don't live and die on Vols football. To do so without being directly attached to the team in someway is rather disturbing. Get a life outside of UT Football and you will be much happier.

He's not just hell bent on staying in Cali like Griffin is. If Ala had room he would probably end up there. Not sold on him being all in on USC. He probably signs there but he's begging for someone to sell him on leaving his home state. Playing in a defensive first league like the SEC has to be very enticing for elite defensive players. But we will find out soon either way.
