‘18 CA CB Isaac Taylor-Stuart (USC signee)

After a day or two you guys need to come back and read these last few pages! Unreal, how dare a kid enjoy the spotlight and teams and FANS clamori g for them..

I think you are going to be embarrassed..

Is it not possible to enjoy the spotlight of their NSD while at the same time not dogging/disrespecting one of the teams that just did their dead level best for the last 2 months to expend a tremendous amount of time and effort to get them to be a part of their program via a 4-year all expenses paid scholarship? Can we find some middle ground here? Is that possible maybe?

Pruitt was labeled as the "goon squad" a cast of recruiters second to none by everyone on here. It is absolutely fair to judge. Those same variables (re: Dooley) available to us this go around as far as coaches leaving.

How do we explain Butch managing the same with MAC-level coaches and a resume that is no match to Pruitt's?

Pruitt struck out, pretty lame class so far. Doesn't mean I hate Tennessee. I just think we deserve better class than what the head man is putting together.

Hardly stuck out. He's been here less than two months. GA and BAMA just played for the natty

Clemson, Ohio St and many others have solid Top 10 programs with stable, tenured coaching staffs.

You CANNOT compare them and their programs to TN.

Give Pruitt and staff a full year to 18 months of recruiting and the outcome would have been a lot different, especially if we show progress on the field.

So please, step away from the keyboard and don't do anything stupid

this dude is all USC. all these big recruits are staying home close to their mommas. damn millennials.

Just starting to read comments. Hoping we don't have our usual emotional lows after every 'less than anticipated' result. Similar to the sky is falling comments after every loss.

The concerning part to me is the guys whose offers were pulled. Some were pretty highly ranked and it's looking like we could've used them since we've missed on everyone else.

They were pulled because they didn't fit the systems JP and his coordinator's like to run. Why bring in players you know don't fit your system then they transfer out and take the APR hit. That would be like recruiting 4-3 players to play in the 3-4 or recruiting option or spread recruits to run a pro set.

He struck out because he swung for the fence. None of those guys were visiting for Butch so if he doesn't even chase them does he look better by just saying he signed #2 juco LB, #2 juco OT, #1 juco TE, in addition to 4 stars in Carvin/banks/Peterson/Emerson/Norwood/lawless/Taylor?

It all about perception. He went for the top of the moon top 3 swing for the hr class and is going to land with a solid group for a month on job.

This is the key. Be excited, huge decision. This, in the business world, would be the equivalent of “don’t burn any bridges.”

I don’t know what goes on behind the scenes, but I hope that they at least have the decency to let the coaches know before the announcement that their not signing and aren’t leading coaches on to believe they’ll be attending the school.

Or maybe they just don't want to go to UT. 6 of the top 8 players in TN left their mamas to head out of state. I'm as frustrated as you are, but I'm not sure it's a generational thing.

Or maybe you could just let me have this one thing to make terms with today? Or not. Or you could just shoot it down. Whatever is cool.

That’s exactly why this coming season is very important. Not only is the in state class loaded, but recruits wanna see improvement. 7-5 needs to be worst case scenario.

I'm sorry but 7-5 to a highly sought after recruit isn't really inspiring.
if pruitt can coach up displayers and win some games he isn't supposed to, that will raise interest

yes i am aware of our record last season, but my point still stands

OK, you got it. The reason kids aren't coming to UT is because of the millennial generation.

Really? Because that’s what UGA did in year 1 with The little stubby one at the helm, 7-5 and look where they are now in recruiting. They wanna see improvement and positives and good coaching.
