Increase between non play action vs play action passes as in they are better on play action... and play action means any running back fake handoff (action) and roll out to pass. So, they are better in space or throwing on the move. Whenever you call a PAP (play action pass) you essentially shorten their field vision and calm things down for them mentally but usually it is a tougher throw... footwork wise
Essentially, it's the Jonathan Crompton approach. It helps overcome deficiencies for guys who aren't the strongest pure pocket passers. It's good that they're good at play-action passing since UT will probably run it more this year, but it also means they probably didn't have very high completion % when just standing in the pocket. I know JG probably didn't because he barely had time to throw when there wasn't some sort of deception.
