Every time I see a new post in one of the Berry threads it gets my hopes up that they finally committed and I am disappointed every time.

How good are the Berry twins? They are so quiet about recruiting and they don't show their offers on the sites. Are they 100% takes if not for the connection? This is not bashing just don't know much about them.

Honestly, if EB14 were to say Rick Berry was his brother I would say sign him up and put him at DE. A 3 star DB and a 4 star(stated earlier) DE/LB can help this team if their last name is Berry or not. The fact they are a legacy just makes the decision that much easier. IMO behind Bates, the Berry twins are the most important recruits left to get in this class.

That is the fallout I am talking about when saying they are the most important left on the board. Missing on any of these 3 is unacceptable IMO. I think a lot of people are busy looking at "stars" and not the player and what it would mean to the program. Landing the twins will be a huge deal. These kids can ball.

Lets clarify this.

Bates = Critical , must get
Berry's = would be nice to have

Dillon Bates is absolutely one of the most important recruits out there. The Berry's are not

I'm not saying landing the Berry's is more important than landing Bates but all would be very welcome additions to this class and would continue the Vol legacy which means a lot to this class and this program in they eyes of many fans.

The Berry's basically have two choices if they want to play football with each other in college, Auburn and UT. Aubur was appealing because ot Trooper, now that he is gone the appeal to Auburn is less. I don't know why they just don't pull the trigger.

i believe they will be a key piece to this recruiting class, but not because they are simply Eric Berry's brother, that's ridiculous.

that's not what was originally stated though. you said they were the "most important" recruits left out there (after bates) which is flat out not true and also ridiculous.

100% on the money ! I would love to have both the Berry's, but I would take a couple (4-star) DL or OL at this point. We already have Vic Wharton DB (4-star), D'Andre Payne DB (4-star), Todd Kelly DB (4-star) & others looking at us. But I would love to have them :good!:
