I think they ate them most important gets of this class for a variety of reasons. For one, that's 2 great players at once. And also because of what they stand for. The berry's are royalty at tn. Point bank...if be more excited to hear the berry's had committed than anyone else. Including dillon bates (although that'd be some amazing news as well)!

Don't get me wrong, I like and appreciate EB as much as anyone but last time I checked he is NOT part of the coaching staff and the staff does not owe him an explanation regarding any recruit. I would love to see the twins come to UT but quite simply they are not the most important uncommited recruits. Also, I'm guessing you (as well as most here on VN) really have no clue what the coaches are up to 'behind closed doors'......

I could be wrong though.... I have been before..

What was Eric's stars BEFORE his Senor year....who is to say that Evan isn't another vonn bell.someone that starts out low and ends up a 5 *. Who else on our recruiting board do you think has the heart, the skill,the brain and the determintion of the Berry's.

Vonn's change in ranking was due to lack of exposure... people have been following/watching the Berry's since 8th grade

Are you sure? Maybe he will be a preferred walkon. Maybe his Dad told them they could wait until later. Get these other TEs. Maybe Patrick is gonna grow into a lineman. Maybe they said wait until summer camps.

The VN jump to conclusions that then becomes "facts" is strong in this post.

Why can't we all just realize our coaches want all 3, all 3 are good players, so WE should want all 3. Period.

Enough will all this nitty, divisive, unimportant crap. We want all 3 to be Vols.

I almost do not want to check the threads of the Berry brothers because of the abuse :)

Berry = singular

Berrys= Plural, ie more than one person with the last name Berry.

Berry's = Singular Possessive. Ie Eric Berry's twin brothers


The twins may not have signed with Tennessee yet because they have read their threads on VN. The English grammar slaughter in their threads may make it difficult for the UT coaches to convince them that they CAN get a quality education at UT! :)

I'm willing to bet they have committable offers to LSU, just cause of Chavis. Georgia is instate but with how Eric was treated, doubt they would go there anyways. The rest is just speculation.

Evan is a big time athlete, he could really blow up this summer if they hit camps. Not as much is said about Elliot but I would say he is plenty talented enough to play in the SEC at any school.

Actually he isnt right. They both play positions of much need and importance. I would put Bates, Mouhon, Malone, McDowell,Hendrix right up there with the Berry twins as far as importance. As well as OL guys, but we have an abundance of needs.

All 3 are very important. I agree Bates is an absolute must get but the twins play Safety and LB, both are much needed positions. Im not saying that just because they are legacy's. If one played RB and the other QB then thats a different story.

Wharton is playing offense and only 1 Berry is a DB. Plus we still have a great shot at Smith, McDowell and Green in the secondary. That would give us 6 secondary guys, which is about the number I have seen for our DB class. Berry, TKJr, Payne, DJ Smith, Green and McDowell would be the best secondary class in 2014.

if you only want 100% facts, you shouldnt sign on to VN until NSD when the LOI are signed.

They may not be the most critical but Secondary and LB are critical positions of need and thats supposedly what they will play in college. Both are very close to being 4* on rivals and could end up before Feb comes around.

I guarantee they have spots saved and available at UT. They both have alot of big time offers and im sure more to come. They will both be waited on and have spots available.
