And have u seen our WR situation? I'm more confident in our oline depth than our WR depth, even with all of the seniors.
i mean, theyre obviously slightly ahead because i grew up around tennessee,
but every other school, im open to every school, because weve got to give them a chance to prove themselves and impress me. You could say (the vols) lead, but im pretty much open.
i just really want the ball in my hands thats all, he said. i cant really say what position i want to play, but i just want the ball in my hands.
(tennessee) told me theyre trying to get the ball in my hands. They said theyll do it.
it was pretty fun. I missed the fan base, berry said, referring to the crowd of more than 61,000 that showed up for the vols spring game. i kind of really lost track of that, but tennessee, their fans are just amazing.
first-year tennessee running backs coach robert gillespie stopped at creekside on tuesday to check on the berrys.
really, theyre just letting me know that were still on their radar, said evan berry,
(they are) not really pressuring me into anything just laid-back. Theyve told me whenever im ready to make a decision, whatever it is, just let them know. We talk pretty often (with parker) because we developed a relationship when my brother was in college with him, so we were close. And he had a younger brother thats around the same age, so we just hung out all the time.
coach jones is excited, and he has his coaching staff very excited about the upcoming year, berry said. as far as i know, as far as i see, he looks like hes ready.

Might as well offer a so-so kicker. Oh wait, we did.
Good lord. You really think that Bob Stoops, Butch Jones and Kevin Sumlin would offer a scholarship to the kid if they didn't think he was an elite kicker? How could you possibly think that? You're using only HS stats to form an opinion but omitting the most important part, who's offered? If it were just based on stats Charlie High would have been a 5 star national recruit.
It was EvanDidn't Evan already committ, when he was in the eighth grade. Or was that Elliot. Either way, these kids are doing the right thing in taking their time and all, but they have to know deep down that they have orange blood. This family is royalty here. I can't allow myself to see them in any other jersey. It's be like seeing Peyton mannings son playing elsewhere. We will appreciate these kids like no other program possibly could.
VQ poster just asked how many WR's will they take with Booth, Kitt and Malone all possibilities?
"They would take all three of those and be done with what they have now. I don't see all three ending up Vols, though. If you include Wharton, Lee and Jackson then they will likely take five or six. I think Creamer ends up somewhere else when it's all said and done."
