Are we seriously even entertaining the thought that James Berry's twin sons and Eric Berry's siblings are going to be offered a walk-on spot on the team?

My thoughts were actually even more far fetched.

1)EB pays for their college in an attempt to save the football program he so loves save two schollies.

2) with those two schollies we bag two 5*s.

3) we win a national championship in the next 3-4 years.

I had a chance to catch up with him over the weekend at IMG in Florida during the 7-on-7 tournament there. As usual he didn't have a whole lot to say regarding his future, but did confirm again that he and his brother won't be going to different schools. The word among the people I talk two is that these two are virtual Tennessee locks, assuming they're takes for the Vols whenever it is they decide to commit.

Neither has been very active on the offseason circuit, whether it be camps or 7-on-7 events, so I was surprised to see both of them in Florida playing for Cam Newton's team.

I don't think so. I feel they are in the same boat as every other recruit. If they want to be Vols, they need to make a decision before their future position is full. S/CB, IMO.

I think if they want to wait till DEC/JAN to decide, they could very well be left out.

They are definite takes. It's not like we have Clemson's numbers this year. Dews is basically a grey shirt so he won't count against this class. So we are still at 16 with 13-14 spots left.

If they want to wait it out, it's on them. If they chose to be Vols while we still had room, we have to take them. EB14 might have to meet CBJ over the middle if he does not.
