‘20 NC SG Jaden Springer (UT commit 10/23/19)

I think it will come down to North Carolina and Tennessee for Springer's services. Memphis could be a dark horse.
I'll be honest, if I had to guess, I'd say UNC is running 5th and is simply a hat on the table at this time. There is next to no relationship with Springer, his family, and the UNC staff.

1. Tennessee
2. Memphis
2a. Michigan
4. Florida
5. UNC

Springer visited Michigan last weekend and will see Memphis next weekend before a trip to Florida on Sept. 20. Some have worried about the lure of UNC, but from what we’re hearing at the moment, UNC is fading there and Springer may not even make previously scheduled visit to Chapel Hill. Tennessee’s whole staff will hit the road on Monday to make a school visit with Springer at IMG Academy.

Those are the 2 schools I worried least about, so doesn’t add any more confidence, but at the very least it eliminates any chance of UNC swooping in late on a hometown kid.

What's up with 247's prediction on Springer? 100% UNC?
An uneducated, early, popular opinion because he has lived in North Carolina for a large portion of his life. They may have been an early favorite of his, as well. But, they didn't prioritize him early on like schools like Tennessee did. Those crystal ball picks are mostly wild assumptions that a kid from NC and an offer from UNC would choose them over the other finalists on his list.

Ah, good to hear. Thanks for the clarification.

Love the super high dunk by Dale Ellis, in your avi. Ellis was the man and my first favorite UT player. In fact, Ellis and those DeVoe teams made me fall in love with UT basketball
Same here, man. Listening to John Ward call those games when the likes of Ellis, Gary Carter, Howard Woods, and Michael Brooks were playing makes for some good memories. Ellis and Willie Burton actually came to my school when I was in the 6th grade and put on a dunking exhibition for a few minutes, then signed autographs. Good ole days!
