Probably. I'm curious as to what Wes Rucker was hinting at then since he said Vol fans should stay tuned for some breaking news this weekend.

He said he had a pretty strong feeling we would be hearing breaking news this weekend. This was, in part, a response to a listener question about whether or not they were waiting to do a basketball podcast once Springer committed.

Interesting, guess we will see...sounds like at the latest it will be Wednesday and could be any day before then.

Agreed. All those on the Tennessee beat seem to be clued in that a formal announcement is on the horizon. We won't have that much longer to find out.

I prefer Hall, but Cardwell as a consolation prize wouldn't hurt my feelings. I just had deja vu, I'm pretty sure I've posted that exact first sentence before. Either way, Cardwell or Hall probably clinches a top 3 ranked class (I am counting Springer)

Top 5 probably. Top 3 would be the ceiling. We aren't passing UK and Duke, even with Springer and Hall.

No I don't think so because they're different style bigs, which most people have a preference on. One is more gifted on the offensive end with the ability to shoot it and the other is a shot blocker/rebounder with the ability to finish above the rim. Both are good players but pretty different
