My son plays on the AAU circuit in Atlanta. I've witnessed some ridiculous talent at the high school level and at tournaments like the Peach Jam. If Tech and UGA could somehow keep just a handful of the studs from leaving the state they would be perennial powers. Pearl spends so much time at McEachern he could teach a class there.

What a nasty combo they would be together! Jabari his a nice mid range and even can knock down the 3. He could really have a lot of potential mismatches and clear the post for Mutombo down low to do work.

Well, there’s that, but I was looking at it from just Size perspective. (6’10 and 7’0) man what sight that would be.

Not that it’s anything special, but they follow each other on Instagram and live 20 min apart. Can’t hurt that’s for sure. No doubt they’ve played each other in local tournaments

Not every player in the same city/area likes each other, is that not just as possible? If you’re basing that “friends” statement on just the above info it would see them not being friends is just as plausible.

Oh i just meant lots of recruits follow each other. But the fact that now it seems Jabari Smith is a common factor with Mashack Mutombo and Chandler....gets the blood pumpin!

Ha well i mentioned that they follow each other on Instagram and live close to each other. I think the chances of Jabari picking us are good considering that it sounds like he has a relationship with chandler and Mashack and since he likely is at least amicable with Mutombo. I’m trying to temper my expeditions a smidge since Banchero was kind of a gut punch when it looked like we had a real shot

This was your post on the topic I am referencing, made it sound like there was a friendship, no mention of you just basing that on Instagram followers...Mila Kunis follows me on Instagram, but I doubt she would consider us friends unfortunately.

Ah, i stand corrected. Thought i mentioned the Instagram thing helped form my hypothesis. Anyway, certainly sounds like Mutombo is next looking at Rivals futurecasts. And didn’t Rob Lewis say we’re the/a leader for Smith?

Edit: this is what i said in another thread, what i was referring to. Wasn’t trying to spread misleading info
