One thing I like about this kid is he looked like he expected to dominate that Pearl Jam. The stage did not appear too big for him.

Zeigler carried that pattern of outstanding play into this season and never once lost his grip. He helped Immaculate navigate probably the toughest schedule in New Jersey this season to a 10-5 record and a No. 6 ranking in the final NJ.com Top 30 by averaging 20.2 points and 5.3 assists. He reached double figures in points in all 15 games, including 13 in the final - a 76-70 loss to powerhouse Patrick School - to close out his career with 1,012 points. Proving that the pursuit of victory, not personal glory, was his top objective, Zeigler also compiled 10 assists that night.

The New Heights Lightning enjoyed a terrific Peach Jam, with the highlight being their wire-to-wire win over future-champion Team Final. The highlight of the "highlight" game was unquestionably the offensive showcase put on by point guard Zakai Zeigler. The 5-foot-10 guard was unconscious from the perimeter, finishing the game with 23 points on 7-for-8 shooting from three, 10 assists, 3 steals, and 3 rebounds. At one point in the first half, the Lightning hit six straight 3-pointers - with Zeigler accounting for four. The best part of the effort besides getting the W? Zeigler didn't turn the ball over once.

I wonder if he reclassifies and joins at midyear like Vescovi did since he's cutting it so close.

Or the other possibility is that he already enrolled and is just going home to grab his stuff and make a formal announcement. Someone needs to investigate the student directory.

Rob said he’s gonna be enrolling this semester, sounds like he’ll be back in Knoxville pretty soon.

I don’t currently see him in the UT directory, but would just need to be enrolled by end of today

I was thinking the second and BTO seems to be saying that’s the case. I’d say it doesn’t matter too much as I wouldn’t expect him to be a first year contributor but I suppose the same was said for Vescovi

Yeah, in this case, I think we have to hope that he isn't a heavy contributor, this year. If he does, something went wrong for Kennedy Chandler.

True. Though the back up PG spot doesn’t seem super settled to me. Lots of dudes who can play PG, but not really any I’d say that PG is/should be their primary position
