“Idiots in tennessee”

He was referring to the people tweeting him about him saying Vescovi’s name wrong, even though he is not. He shouldn’t say that but he did not call Tennessee fans as a whole “idiots”. Let’s try and not be so easily offended
He said and I quote, “ for all you idiots in tennessee”, that includes me and you if you live here!!!!

So is he saying it wrong? I've heard him pronounce it two different ways, both different than what I thought it was.

As an experienced broadcaster, Fraschilla had to know that suddenly pronouncing a popular player's name differently during a big televised game would be received poorly and generate comments. And to make it worse, Fraschilla's been repeatedly over-emphasizing it this new way throughout the broadcast like he's dangling a shiny prize in front of folks. Tennessee fans have heard it pronounced the old way for two years. They're going to assume he's saying it wrong, because as far as they know he is. They want him to say it right. Fraschilla had to know they would do that. Anyone with a brain cell would know that would happen. Calling Tennessee fans "idiots" in response is sorry.

Fans are only reacting to what they’ve been told the correct pronunciation of Vescovi’s name was for the past 2 years. Francella needs to chill & apologize.

UT men’s basketball media people should have corrected the pronunciation long ago.
