I don't understand what you're trying to say. How is UT football relevant to the discussion?Our offensive droughts are too prevalent for us to be a serious title contender IMO. We're a sweet 16 caliber team, as we always are and will be under Barnes. And that's not a bad thing, especially if we can get this football thing finally turned around.
It's all realtive. No coach is going to say that routinely shooting 33% and turning the ball over 18 times is a consistent model for success. But, when you outrebound your opponent by 23, get 21 ORebs to their 20 DRebs, shoot 78% from the FT line on 27 attempts, force 12 TOs, and block 6 shots, it helps to mask your own deficiencies.I’m sure Rick would agree it isn’t a recipe for success. Or you believes he coaches from this myopic view of “welp, we won, everything must be good”.

I think all together. This is the second best team he’s had since he’s been here. This field is pretty wide open. One game at a time and you just never know!
