🤔..Wonder what new staff's thoughts on UNIFORMS??

AD White said something about observing and respecting the traditions already in place, while implementing some new things.

I'd expect to see more combos between the orange and white pants, and a "smokey gray" once a year, as well as the once every few years black uni.

I'd also expect to see the checker neyland thing return with the athletic department organizing it, which might even be better than when the fans pulled it off, which was awesome enough.

I would also think some sort of lettermen's get together coupled with some sort of fan's day around the O&W game, assuming we can still do that.

All of these are just my thoughts, which, in today's market, are up slightly, at .03 cents per share.

Dear God, no. That would look like painting a VW bug like the General Lee. In metallic paint.

Orange helmets would be an interesting change

I like the traditional look but I think a little up grade of the helmet , maybe a metallic orange and white T would be pretty cool or I wouldn't be opposed to having VOLS replace the T on a special helmet worn once or twice a year . I also like the numbers outlined in black or even gray, it just makes them easier to see.

As long as they don't do that flat color thing that a lot of alternate helmets have ... just looks so cheap, i hate it.

If I remember correctly UCF had some alternates. I’d say High Pull isn’t against it.

Kinda curios👀👀. Will they be locked on the idea of Traditional Uni's or will they Push for a combination of Traditional looks with an aggressive modern feel? I personally would like both!! I Love our Storm Troopers, but also would love a new high tech with attitude Uni. What's your thoughts? On the Uni's! 😂 not me! Or this post!

Orange jerseys, big white numbers, white pants, white helmet, orange T. All white road uniforms, big orange numbers, black stroke outlining the numbers, black font for the names, aka "stormtrooper" look. Occasionally two orange stripes on the pants to class up the joint. This ain't hard.

If you must have an alternate, those Adidas grey jerseys were a really good effort. I felt like Adidas really put in the work on that design;; it felt to me like they cared about doing something great with that look. Those colors also had a fantastic contrast on green turf. Just -- I really appreciated those jerseys. More of those. The Nike design just didn't have the same pop, like they came in after Adidas and knew they couldn't just copy Adidas but at the same time Adidas already got it right so they were stuck with the leftovers. But more of the gray style those Adidas jerseys used please.

Oh and no black except when games fall on October 31st. Black uniforms okay on that day, otherwise no black uniforms as a regular color. Don't @me with that silly graphic showing UT technically wore black back in 1675, I don't care about technicalities or what people thought of sporting fashion back when they still burned people for witchcraft and paid for their football tickets with shillings.

No black in the uniform. Our colors are orange and white. The Grey's were cool, at the time. But, they're over now.

Agree with the black I always disliked the black outlines on the numbers.

But grey is officially in the schools color palate now and the other teams still use them. I’d be ok with them again, the kids seem to really like em

I don't mind an alt once a year. The all grey uniform just have bad memories attached to them. I'd rather see a different throwback every year.

Eh, the black helps with the contrast problem you get with orange and white - easier to see the names and numerals from the stands.. Particularly on bright sunny days. Helps on the TV too, but more in-person where you have to drop a few bitcoins to get the good seats.

It's a little easier when it's all orange and the white is used for the names and numerals. Not needed there. But for stormtrooper, it provides a real benefit.

In a world of 4k TV I don't think it does much at home. I can see the augment in person. But, it just looks so bad. Like the black cleats, it was a practical choice, back in the day. But it just looks low rent now.

I actually liked watching UCF's games, they were exciting and always good games to watch. But they had a TON of different uniform combos, seemed to do a lot with camo and red, white, blue color schemes. They are the "Golden Knights" so their colors were black and gold. Also had some secondary designs based on the stars (think space, not flag).
