Freakin love y’all’s smoky greys or whatever. I like unique stuff that stands out. Argue all the time with boomer Gator fans. . . Even the most seemingly minuscule advantage can be a big deal in today’s recruiting world. Not a lot of teams wear all gray and I would bet no one has a gray/orange combo. Black is kind of played out with so many teams doing it so the smoky greys are like UT’s own version of that.

leave it alone. Tennessee tradition. Most of the real historic programs know that the uniform is part of the identity. We have a good thing. No need to change it.

Losing is our identity for the past 2 decades. Uniforms are fun for fans and players. Win and no one cares what your wearing. Win and people will identify you.

Not like ourc team will ever be lost in a sea of people and needing to be identified. Clicking through the channel? Look at the corner of your screen.

Was really cool contrast! If you notice most of the recruits cameos were sporting the smokey grays

As to shoes, let each player wear what he wants within the Nike offerings. If some want black ones? Wear em. If some want orange ones? Hey, LC Greenwood wearing yellow ones for the Steelers was cool back in the day. If others want white ones? wear em. Nike won't mind at all.

Orange jerseys, big white numbers, white pants, white helmet, orange T. All white road uniforms, big orange numbers, black stroke outlining the numbers, black font for the names, aka "stormtrooper" look. Occasionally two orange stripes on the pants to class up the joint. This ain't hard.

If you must have an alternate, those Adidas grey jerseys were a really good effort. I felt like Adidas really put in the work on that design;; it felt to me like they cared about doing something great with that look. Those colors also had a fantastic contrast on green turf. Just -- I really appreciated those jerseys. More of those. The Nike design just didn't have the same pop, like they came in after Adidas and knew they couldn't just copy Adidas but at the same time Adidas already got it right so they were stuck with the leftovers. But more of the gray style those Adidas jerseys used please.

Oh and no black except when games fall on October 31st. Black uniforms okay on that day, otherwise no black uniforms as a regular color. Don't @me with that silly graphic showing UT technically wore black back in 1675, I don't care about technicalities or what people thought of sporting fashion back when they still burned people for witchcraft and paid for their football tickets with shillings.

Interesting, I can't think of a college team that does that. I could get behind it. The "traditionalists" will collectivly have litters of 6 toed kittens, on the 50 yard line, the first time someone wears pink shoes for breast cancer awareness month. But, that'll be fun too.
