I really liked the Smokey gray look.

That's fair, but so does the term VFL. You know it was Dooley who came up with that right? lol

That's was the one good thing Dooley did. The one good thing Butch did was the standard uniforms while he was here. I wish we'd go back to those and do something different with the alts. I personally like the subtle checkerboard in the stripes too, but many don't. I'm willing to sacrifice that to make the black go away. The only time there should be black in the uni is a game on Halloween night. That'll be Kiffin's good thing. The throwbacks can be Pruitt's. Nice and neat.

I wouldn't mind throwing some black on our uniforms. I personally liked the Halloween ones from ~2010ish. Smokey greys were cool too. Keep the traditional look most the time but kids love different jersey combinations a couple games a year these days.

I say go back to the jerseys that were worn during Johnny Majors erra. Always keep helmets the same. White with orange T look badass.

If you do anything to the helmet, is should be to change them to a matte finish instead of the glossy.

I actually liked the Smokey Grey look, especially the Helmets with the Ghosted in Smokey Mtns. I would have like to have seen a mixture of the smokey grey with either the White and Orange schemes.

At least the Uni thread is bringing us back to our normal arguments

Hope we go back to the 2015-2017 unis. Checkerboard accents on the pants & helmets were nice. I also miss the occasional use of the grays.

I am all for tradition and keeping things traditional, but just like the offense and TN play, it needs to progress with the times. Kids these days are all about the swag and the swagger. If throwing out Smokey Greys and All black and orange from time to time gonna land us recruits and get people to want to come to the hill, then I am all for it. Some of us can't be living like it's still the 80's and 90's. Be nice for once if TN can be out front leading the SEC in something, whether uniforms or scheme smh.

I'm an orange britches man myself. Other than that, I'm more interested in performance. I'm looking forward to seeing lots of fast moving orange.

I know I’ll get roasted, and I do greatly cherish the rich traditions at UT......but I love me some alternate unis!!

I want us to wear our traditional uniforms, but I’d love to see something unique a couple of games per year.

Kinda curios. Will they be locked on the idea of Traditional Uni's or will they Push for a combination of Traditional looks with an aggressive modern feel? I personally would like both!! I Love our Storm Troopers, but also would love a new high tech with attitude Uni. What's your thoughts? On the Uni's! not me! Or this post!
