Not even. There's too big a gap.
You could maybe, maybe make the argument if a #3 Auburn plays and beats a #4 ranked Missouri next week, but at this point it's just not there.
AU with this win today over number one.. and if they beat Missouri which will be ranked in the top 5.. they will jump over Ohio State!
It will be interesting to see how the math works out. Ohio St is a solid 3rd overall in the computers. They're ranked 3rd in all of them except one, and in the exception they're ranked 4th. 3rd in both polls.
Auburn meanwhile is 4th overall in the computers (but ranked as low as 8th in Sagarin) and 6th and 5th in the polls. I wouldn't be surprised if they jump Ohio St in both polls but trail them in the computers...I think that might be enough for them to leapfrog Ohio St.
The polls won't have a team with losses jump an established team from a major conference that's undefeated at the moment.
I'm not entirely convinced of that. Auburn has SEC recognition, won a national title just a couple of years ago, and has wins over 4 ranked teams (5 if they beat Missouri), including Alabama. Ohio St's most impressive win will be beating Mich St in the Big 10 Championship, assuming they win it.
I could see them jumping Ohio St in at least one poll.
