At face value, "choking" means you are still eligible while the other does not.
But come on, let's stop with the whole "LaMichael James choked his girlfriend" thing.
If he's your favorite player you sure aren't doing him any favors. I'd be surprised if any fans from the SEC cared or read about LMJ's court documents. When an Oregon "fan" like yourself claims he choked out his girlfriend then that's what the uninformed will believe.

And according to "documents", Cam Newton knew nothing about his father soliciting his services for money.
So again, I ask; What's worse. Choking out your girlfriend or accepting $200,000?

Dude, you are about to play a team with Nick Fairley and Cam Newton on it, and has Trooper Taylor on the coaching staff. You need a new definition of "dirty program" if you think it entails faking injuries.
somewhere, a fan's yelling at his television screen that Oregon's not #1 going into the game like it's a big deal

I simply loath stone throwing, holier than though, hypocrites. Don't speak on Cam Newton unless the players on your program(Not Oregon, but anybody) are without blemish. It's irritating.
I hop on fb from my hotel room in Indiana after the Civil War, and I see more Duck fans *****ing about Reser Stadium and Beaver fans than celebrating their MNC game berth.
Seriously.
I wonder what wheaton is going to think when Fairley bodyslams Thomas.
I look at the "fake injuries" the same way I do Duke flopping in basketball.
It's cheap but it works.
Why? Did you choke your girlfriend out?
Bumi, you completely tipped your hand by exaggerating what James did to "choking his girlfriend out".
Obviously, you realize that describing what really happened isn't comparable to what Cam allegedly did to most sane people. So, you had to jazz it up.
Oregon fans can speak on Cam Newton or anyone else who looks to have done something wrong with a clear conscience since all of Oregon's players who got into trouble were held accountable.
Na, LaMichael choked his out though.
...
I exaggerated it? His girlfriend was the one that claimed he choked her out. I'm just taking her for her word. Kind of like you are with the MSU clowns.
...
Hands around throat with a little bit of squeezing. No way to "jazz" that up.
And you're correct. Accepting money is no way comparable to choking out women. The latter is considerably worse.
...
Yea, LaMichael was suspended for a game. Totally held accountable for trying to kill his girlfriend. :good!:
Btw, don't speak for all Oregon fans. You'll give them a bad name.
You obviously have not read the police report and have no clue what you're talking about. So, I will help you out:
LaMichael James Sentencing Memorandum
James did not choke anyone out.
Another Duck in cuffs: LaMichael James booked for 'strangulation'
The strangest part about what you've said is that you apparently do believe that he tried to choke his girlfriend out. But, you're still a big fan of his while believing he did that.
If it's a legit play, I'll have to give him credit. Though, Oregon has allowed few sacks this season, I think mostly due to the scheme. It will be interesting to see if that ends up being a factor or not.
Poking a guy in the eye works too. Doesn't mean it should be tolerated.
