Zags freaking choked. Terrible last 1:57. Gave up a dunk and 2 layups including an and 1 and only got 2 shots off...a 20' 2-pointer and a desperation 3 in garbage time.

Ugly game, terrible shooting by both teams (UNC couldn't even make foul shots), ton of fouls---one of the worst title games in years. The Zags had plenty of chances to win the game--but Carnowski (sp), the big guy, had a terrible game and they didn't even go to him down the stretch, despite Meeks having 4 fouls. I think they should have. He got the ball deep in the low post with 4 minutes to go and didn't even shoot the ball. But UNC's best player was equally bad--awful--until the very late 3-point play that put UNC ahead for good. Strange game. I've got a lot of respect for Mark Few--great coach--and Roy Williams, too.

Refs called the game terrible in both directions, im not blaming them for losing. North Carolina made the plays when it mattered, we missed our shots.

I think they have major NHL games, and I believe they get NASCAR (in the form of races from the Cup Series, Xfinity Series, K&N Pro Series, Whelen Modified Tour, and Toyota Series). They also get Indy Car, The Open Championship (golf), the Tour De France (tennis) the French Open (tennis), Formula One, and of course, the Summer Olympics every 4 years.

FOX Sports airs MLB games, I think the US Open (the golf one), and a ton of soccer (Major League Soccer plus the FIFA and other cups).

ABC still has the NBA and will even still show things like IndyCar racing (the Indianapolis 500 comes to mind).


But CBS Sports seems to pretty much just disappear for a third of the year.

I'm one of those guys. Being a UT football fan isn't exactly a badge of honor, these days. We haven't won much of anything since 1998.
