But CBS Sports seems to pretty much just disappear for a third of the year.

CBS pretty much has only PGA tournaments all summer. They have the US Open tennis but that's not until early September.

None of this (yes I have terrible grammar skills get the F$&@ over it) takes away from the fact that Ben is a fair weather fan... I don't got on a Gator fan site and talk about the Vols.... and guess what (I bet Gonzaga probably has a fan site for their basketball team)

ESPN airs the US Open (tennis) now; they bought the rights in 2015. That's also why there haven't been any college football games on ESPN2 the first 2 weekends of the last two years (and due to the contract being written prior to that, why CBS still doesn't get first choice on SEC football games those weekends).

And I don't think they even have PGA tournaments through the summer do they? Isn't it like just the Masters (next week) and then no others until the PGA Championship in August?

I'm a Tennessee football fan on a Tennessee forum. I was never really a fan of college basketball until i visited Gonzaga 13 years ago and became a fan of them. What's so difficult to understand?

WE HAD A TEAM 13 years ago.... why is that so hard to understand... the ONLY reason you didn't like UT basketball or (College basketball) is because they sucked then... I mean can you honestly say that's not the reason?
Unless you were a Gonzaga fan before you were a Tennessee Football fan... in which case is a completely different argument...

Full disclosure I assumed... I assumed that he was a Zags fan because of his avatar... in which case I assumed he was like every other Gator, Cat, Bama, whoever else fan that just comes on here and trolls... then I issued a handout saying my bad I was just messing with you and had no reply and now we are here... pride has a lot to do with it... full disclosure of course..

I don't get what makes anyone think they're entitled to an explanation about why another person roots for the team(s) they root for.

I mean I get it but this is a Vol fan site so why should anyone think they are entitled to come on here being a fan of another team... I was under the assumption this is for VOL fans... (I know that sounds rude but I don't mean it that way)

I wasn't a fan of any college basketball 13 years ago, hated it, no matter if it was Tennessee or anybody. I went out there and went to a game and became a fan of them because of my experience. Why you have your panties in a bunch over this is the hardest part to understand.

I watched beginning to the end... I think the refs where horrible, but they are not to blame. The NCAA wanted games called tightly and so they did their job.... I wanted UNC to win because of how we played against them... obviously not how we lost the game and I also understand that that perception doesn't really matter..

I mean if you read my post from up above then you would understand... didn't realize you were one of the good guys... and now because of the arguments I put up.. everyone on this thread dislikes me so that will take a while to clear up and so goes the rabbit hole...

Really not a di&@ I just assumed you were another troll and the game pissed me off... my bad.... and my bad to everyone else... I don't like trolls and for sure didn't mean to become one... I am usually on the Football Forum because I am a football coach... one of the good guys over there...

But why does it matter who's on here to begin with? It's the best sports forum I've ever found, if a Kentucky or Alabama or Florida fan wants to come on here and have rational civilized conversations with other sports fans then I'm all for it. I can see your point if i was on here trolling everyone about how bad Tennessee is at basketball and rubbing it in your faces about being in the championship game. I simply congratulated the North Carolina fans on here, many of who i "know" like AV and Reg, on the victory.
