Rush left Hoover after all the scandals came out. This is Rush's nephew. Nothing special about this kid.

Previous La Tech recruit. Not real excited about this if its a favor. But I will support CDD if he thinks he has to have this kid..:dunno:

I think CDD is in on some really good guys, I just dont think Probst and Crump are included in those. JMO

I know, I'm not a coach or a talent evaluater, whatever, I think these are 2 La Tech-UAB type prospects and will have to really overachieve to justify their scholarships... IMO

Crump 4 Heisman.....

Crump is a player! Point, blank, period.

espnu talks pretty good about him....."Propst is an under the radar middle linebacker prospect with great production between the tackles. Has adequate size on paper but looks bigger on film with well-layered bulk. Makes sound, quick reads between the tackles and fills hard and fast downhill."

Here is another recruit that IMO is a reach. Just like Crump, no other schools have shown much interest.. Why??

His offer list is UAB,La,Tech and WVU. Just like Crump, I am not saying he wont be an all-american, I'm just saying he may be just a UAB or La.Tech talent. Just sayin....

Please don't slam me, because I said the same thing about Crump as an Opinion and got killed.

Wait......Here it comes..... Hold ur breath...

Crump 4 Heisman...:) GBO and go CDD

You don't have to apologize for stating your opinion. Who is to stay they are right over you. This is an open forum where you can state your opinion about whatever the subject is.

I to am beginnning to worry about the number of open spots left in this class. Just 2 days ago one of the major topics on here was cooncern if we could fill all the spots and now look at things. Wow! I will be glad to see the final offical recruits we bring in. And as always and forever GBO!!!!

Im not bashing you...but who do you suppose we recruit? We need to fill the class because our numbers are really low...Dooley had 3 weeks to get 12/13 commits...most of the guys we were in on wrote UT off... so again...who do you suppose we recruit given the current situation????

I don't see why people are slamming this kid when he has the same rating as Ralph Williams

It's not the rating. He just currently does NOT possess the speed to be an SEC lb. Will take a couple of years in the strength and conditioning program to even attempt to run down the premier backs of the conference.

they haven't produced a big time athlete since Chad Jackson, not sure on that though. They're not a factory by any means.

They got a good WR this year I think but that's it. Think he's real fast. But Chad was the only player that scored on us when I played against Hoover. They are a well coached good team but they don't produce good talent by any means. Rush Propst was just a good salesman to college programs.

I actually heard MTV went to Eden Prairie HS in Minnesota to do that show, but they turned it down for fear of bad publicity. Looks like that was the right move.

Hoover seems like Alabama's version of Maryville. They win championships on a regular basis at the highest level of competition in their respective states, yet never seem to turn out many high-major D-1 players. It's just baffling to me.

Thought this was interesting...

Add 15lbs to Propst and he has measurable's that are that of a former All American and top 5 NFL pick LB. That LB was rated as a Rivals 3* (#30 LB) and had an offer list that consisted of mostly Big 10 schools. Propst is a 3* that is ranked as the #25 LB according to rivals.

That LB was former Ohio St and current Green Bay LB Aj Hawk.

Now, I am in no way saying that that Propst will turn out to be anything like AJ Hawk. I am simply saying that they are of a similar size and are ranked similarly by some of the scouting services.

his film actually looks pretty good...physical LB with some pretty nice hits and fighting through blocks..if he has the intensity and work ethic of his uncle then it is someone worth a shot..always good to have a fighter

someone made a comment about this is a big east or Big Ten LB..umm so there have never been any good LBs from those leagues? There are plenty of LBs in Big Ten I wouldve take from the past and present.

Both places define a high school program...kids buy in at an early age, they run the same system as they did in junior high, player development.... emphasis on freshman and jv teams...etc...
