He was playing in Alabama 6A football.He had a couple of highlights against powerhouse Hoover that won the state championship this year so the competition shouldn't be that bad.

Kind of like that 4 star CB we haven't offered, that has offers from La Tech and Colorado. His list is not impressive either, but you will take him because rivals 'gurus' think he is 4 star material. You put more stock into those guys, than you do in our coaches recruiting abilities.

Its LMAO that you only care about stars and offers. If Lance Thompson thinks this kid can play for the Vols and in the SEC with his coaching, then sign him up. The Lipscomb Alums who run rivals aren't as good at evaluating talent as our coaches are.

I imagine you as the person who hated the M. Dixon signing, but then he jumped up to a 3 star on Scout and it was finally ok with you.

FTR, that 4* CB probably isn't getting offers due to the ACL rather than his playing ability. He's a risk right now.

I know, but BOB goes on about impressive offer lists etc. I would love to sign Clark, but BOB might not like it because he doesn't have a lot of offers.

If u spend time slamming posters that disagree with you or any of our coaches opinions or decisions, then you will have a full time job. I happen to agree with a great many of our coaches decisions and some I do not. This is one I do not. It's called America.

As a UT Graduate, season ticket holder and Donor, I Have every right to voice my opinion. You have never heard me slam any coaches here or our program. So continue your assault on me if you like.

Talked to him personally. Not committed just yet, but I have a feeling he will commit during his visit! He said Auburn & Bama are both very interested, but ran out of schollies for this class. They are both offering a gray shirt, requiring him to enroll in the fall.

The thing with this kid is he was on NO ONE's radar! He is certainly a "hidden" gem! Rivals barely has any info on him and Scout doesn't even have a profile for him at all. He just recently posted those Youtube vids and that's what caught a lot of recruiters attention.

The vids look good and I like the fact that Auburn and Bama have interest, I say welcome to you UT sir!

Hopefully Rivals gives him some stars to reassure him though...

I think CNS has a lot of respect for CDD's talent evaluating ability.

CDD found someone everyone missed, and then some ears perked up.

I hope the talent evaluation is one of CDD's major strong suits, because if he gets good coaches in here, and finds good players for them, we could build a perty good team in the next few years.
