'10 AL LB Raiques Crump

Ha...so you know Nick, Corey's brother, then. I played baseball with him at Jackson State. Small world. I used to hang out with a lot of these guys.

I know Corey through camps and playing against him a lot. I know Meco and Kerry a bit more than Corey. Meco is supposed to be coming to some of our flag games this spring.

You are right. Why dosent he? I think that question should be answered that's all. Don't you??

I do wonder why Alabama or Auburn did not offer the kid a scholarship. Or UAB? I mean unless there is a big issue with grades or something his lack of offers is shocking.

I am not saying he is not going to be good,

I am saying that when someone says "kid just started playing at 16" or "kid had a torn up knee his junior year" or whatever the case it makes me feel more comfortable than...

Kid is awesome and no one in his home state noticed that except the newspaper guys who put him on an all region but not all state team.

So have we actually extended this kid a commitable offer or is this just a covering our behinds in case of some signing day surprises?

The 28 cap doesn't apply to EE's.

If we are short this year, we can sign the same number of EE's next midterm as we are short this year.

The way its looking, I don't see us being that short. And I don't see us filling it up for the sake of getting warm bodies either. I think this will be a good class when its all said and done.

I just hope the OL is good. That looks to be the big, glaring weakness still.

+1 Great post! :hi:

Guys if the coach at Jess Lanier who recommended him says he can play. He can play! The guy coached DeMeco Ryans, Corey White, Kerry Rhodes and now Ladarius Owens just to name a few.

Now this is a good and tangable point of view. Had not thought of it like that and did not know that Ryans and owens were coached by him.

+1

Can't imagine why he is still around and so not noticed,,,

Word has it Nick Saban is at Minor High School right now. Who knows what he's doing down there.

Nobody wants UT to get any talent! Everybody hatin on us. CNS probably trying to brain wash the kid now.

I like CDD & he's a nice guy & all, but he's going to have to have some thick skin to recruit & coach in the SEC. My point is that there are no friends on the other side. CDD is got to grind it out & stay on his A game. CDD, has to get down & dirty with the best of them to succeed.

Nick Saban knows Dooley has an eye for hidden gems.

He knows CDD & CLT use to be his recruiting coordinators. Saban is not a dummy. Besides I heard this kids film got out kinda late. Being in bama, seems he would of known before now though. I think this kids HS coach is pushing him towards UT though.

2 #1 classes at LSU bruh

the kid puts his cell phone number on his youtube clip. ha.

anyway, this unknowns are pretty intriguing. sometimes its those kids who have the most drive and motivation. prove something of themselves

LD, How good is the comp in that league? He Looks damn good off his hilights.

Minor is in 6A, the highest level of comp in Alabama. In this classification, there are two perennial heavyweights that are ranked nationally every year Hoover and Prattville. So to go 7-5 in the classification is respectable.
