'10 AR RB Michael Dyer

I moderately agree, and moderately disagree. I mean it's obviously nice to have a stable, but we do see a lot of those stud USC running backs fizzle out or transfer, the way Emmanuel Moody and Broderick Green already have in the last couple of years.

I would be thrilled to land one 4-star RB in this next class.

Well you may also consider that some of these guys will most likely leave early for the NFL so there is room. I do think that if we get another top RB in this class that he may or may not have to red-shirt or sit a year but they will get some PT but that's just my opinion.

Moody has been a bust so far. So they aren't missing out on anything. Also has anyone noticed how much slower he looks at Florida. He looked fast on the west coast but he's like an okay back with okay speed down here.

He was almost going to go to Oklahoma State, right? I agree he doesn't look like an amazing back anymore, but I think that happens when you've been playing on a team where Tim Tebow and Percy Harvin have been playing. Besides, my point was simply to indicate at the time he was viewed as a stud back in a crowded backfield. Last year 2-3 of the RB's voiced displeasure at PT out there at USC, so I'd love to have a good group of running backs without considerable amounts of whining.

I hope Coach just tell him something like "Michael, if you commit, and be firm with your commitment, we would not take any other RB this year...."

I saw his video, man he can run. I think tat he's not afraid of competion and would love to come in and comete for playing time. Also, he likesthe direction the team is going in and our coaching staff. I know CEO will stay on him ill we get his commitment.

In that case add him to the stable

No this past weekend was still off limits and couldn't talk to recruits. The Spring you can go watch Spring practice, but not talk to them. You sgow up let it be known your there, and talk to his coach. They are also trying to get the TE Mosley. He came to the O&W game, went home and told Dyer how much fun he had.

but if they accidently run into them or the head coach or someone else introduces them its totally legal to talk to the recruits i read that in meat market.

I didnt think he ever looked that great at SC either. I must say, when he said he was transferring from SC for UF.....I thought it was a pretty dumb move. RB position is definitely not "pro style" there.....they want really fast, jitterbug type guys in that offense it appears. He should have went somewhere more suited to his skills. Now he is just buried on the depth chart at UF.

Hubbs said that Coach O is supposed to be watching Dyer and Mosely on either the 11th or the 15th of May. Not much info, but info nonetheless...

Well I know everybody was on the Moody train until he got to compete for real PT. Then we all got to see his worth which is? I guess a faster Arian Foster.

"I'm open to everyone right now," he said. "I like what (Notre Dame) has to offer and they like what I have to offer. Right now everyone has an equal shot."

Per Rivals... It's also been confirmed that Orgeron watched Dyer and Mosely pratice this past week and they both will be attending the June camp in Knoxville...

Anyone want to put out an over/under number for Moody this year. Last year he averaged over 7 yards per carry with limited action. Went for 400-500 yards. Demps, Rainey, Harvin and Tebow went over 600 each.

I'd put his over under this year at 850. No matter how good, it's hard to get enough touches when the ball is spread around so much.

Look for a breakout from Moody after Tebow leaves.

I'm so ready for these June camps. Let's get some guys on campus and see how many verbals we walk away with. Plus all of the lesser known players that have yet to discuss. We may offer and get our verbal all at the same time from the camps. Bring it on...
