'10 AR RB Michael Dyer

Dyer and Scriggins would be huge pick ups in this camp.

If the scout quote is legit, i wouldn't expect to get a commit from Dyer and Scroggins most likely won't commit to us before he visits Florida and/or gets an offer from USC.

auburn need Rbs thats why they are on all of these lists of top rbs. They also have Trooper and Loper who relate well with the kids.

Why would he come to our camp if he wasn't interested in us? Don't players pick to go to camps at schools their interested in?

I wasn't saying that they weren't interested in us, they clearly are, but i personally don't think we'll get Dyer and don't particularly like our chances with Scroggins, and they DEFINITELY won't commit when they come here in June.

auburn? He must like trashy limos...man I dont get why anybody would want to commit to them now they are twice as shaky as the Vols even with the crazy Gus.

They are leading for three 5 star RBs, the #2 WR in the nation, a big time WR Richardson, and alot more that I can't remember (LaDarius Owens, Mincy?). But no need to worry, Sab has already guaranteed me that Auburn won't sign any of them...

Not what I said. They won't get any of the running backs.

Lattimore will go to USC. Seastrunk will go to LSU. Dyer will go to Arkansas.

You're good at cut and paste, but not so good at interpreting what you read.

I think Auburn has the best shot at Lattimore. Seastrunk probably goes to LSU/Texas/USC and Dyer to Arkansas.

Lattimore has certainly said that Auburn is on top now. I just think when all the cards fall, it will be the Gamecocks that get his signature.

New article on Rivals talks about UT being in his top 10. He has been to two other camps thus far. I hope we wow this kid. He is a bad*ss.

I still want Anthony Barr, too. Just a dream

Throw in Jeff Luc

Still not enough in my mind to pull a five star RB from the likes of the schools that wont lose 10 games next year...

New article on Rivals talks about the five RBs that they believe we are recruiting the hardest. Dyer was the first on the list. He was suppose to come for camp last week and was a no show. However he is going to take an unofficial visit in July and we are still in the race for him.

can you elaborate on why you feel this way? was it something you picked up on from your conversation with him?

The nation's No. 3 back, who is one of only 14 prospects currently rated a five-star by Rivals.com, gave high marks to his weekend on the Plains.

"It was perfect," Dyer said. "The coaches, the campus, they just have a lot to offer. It's just all-around great."

Dyer credited AU's coaching staff, particularly offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn and running backs coach Curtis Luper, for making his visit so perfect.

Perfect enough, in fact, to put the Tigers at the top of a very impressive list of offers.

"Auburn is No. 1," Dyer said. "They've actually been No. 1 for a while. Coach Malzahn and Coach Luper are two coaches I trust and respect. They can make it happen for me."

5-star RB Michael Dyer says AU #1. Done with visits and decision soon

Several people are saying that Dyer is overrated. I still think he ends up a hog.

Oh maybe. I really don't know enough about Lattimore to say anything certain about him. I just threw it out there because I heard it the most.

I dont see us getting another highly rated 4 or 5* RB for a couple years.....ESPECIALLY if BB and Oku are as advertised. We have so much young depth at the position its gotta scare off some of the bigger name recruits. GREAT problem to have, IMO.

But, c'mon Michael.....the dude that make Cadillac and Ronnie great is in Orange and White now, son!
