Those in the know have known that JS was going to SC for at least a week now.
The kid has strung everyone out to get more attention. Is that really a good thing?

ok it's over...Let's kill all the Scroggins threads and move on...No sense crying over spilled milk...Plenty of other qb's out there...Let's go get one and quit crying over the ones we lost.....P.S. If one of the 2010 QBs are coming, they need to commit ASAP. If we go into the fall, part of what they would add, in terms of other recruits, is lost.

Who cares? I mean the recruitment of this kid doesn't mean jack. Think about how many 4 and 5* QB's pan out....There's a 3* out there who will go on to become a All American some day. Look at last years Heisman finalist..Tebow 5*, McCoy and Bradford 3*.

As far as USC being a QB factory, lets take a hard look at this....Carson Palmer - 2 good years and injury and now he's a scrub, Matt Leinart - Anyway, John David Booty - Works at the Piggly Wiggly in Baton Rouge, Matt Cassell - Had a decent year throwing to Randy Freaking Moss and Wes Welker with the best coach in the game on the sideline...Lets see him throw in KC.....

i think our recruiting just took a big hit. not because we lost a QB player but because we lost a QBs name. this will hurt in the long run. i think this may be the first true set back for this coaching staff. its just hard to compete with USC after a 5-7 season, an untested offensive scheme and staff, and a program that had been in the decline for years. this day sucks.

For picking a team with so much depth at quarterback... I honestly won't feel bad for Scroggins if he never sees the field. His family is hurting on money and he picks the school where he will get one year at most to showcase himself to the NFL. The funny thing, USC will probably get a five star quarterback next year and Scroggins will be screwed.

Honestly, I know he is just a kid but if he isn't smart enough to realize he may never see the field at USC and picks them anyways... did we really want this kid make decisions at quarterback for us?

I am still going to watch ESPN today or check online following but at this point I don't even care about UT not getting him if that's the case. Tennessee will land a quarterback next year after Tennessee wins 8 or 9 games and Kiffin shows the quarterbacks that even Crompton looks good in his system. :p

5-7 last year. 'Nuff said. I wouldn't come here either until this program gets off of life support. 2-3 years of rebuilding ahead before we can even think of contending for the SEC. I despise CPF.

Man... This place is turning on the guy who was their savior.

There is a whole season of football to be played. Some senior will emerge and commit to UT. Doesn't help with recruiting this season though...

Well his stats and my collegiate stats will be the same.
0-Att., 0-Comp., 0-TD, 0-Int.,
Have fun ridding the pine for 4 years.
I would have loved to have had him but if he don't want to be here I don't want him.
