I don't know about that. What's the point of blocking for someone if they are going miss their mark anyways. What's the point of being a receiver on a team that will allow you 2 catches a game. I am not saying Stephens and Lamaison can't be successful but I doubt they'll be anything special. I am going to the school with a quarterback that can get me the ball on a regular basis. I am going to the school where my protection actually means something.

My heart wants it to be true but there are too many people saying he's a trojan. As in GVX and stuff. Either they are all complete morons, JS set everyone up, or he's going to USC. Most likely the third though.

You're right. But if we are using our brains on this matter, Scroggins will never beat out Barkley. Scroggins could put up better showings in practice and Barkley is still going to be the starter. Barkley will have to fail miserably on game days for him to lose the starting role. It's already Barkley's. The number one quarterback on both rivals/scouts isn't losing out the six/seven quarterback who was in a much weaker class. I really doubt it anyways.

Blocking for two yard runs? If Stephens and Lamaison stink it up which is a realistic possibility... opposing defenses will stack up against the run. We're not just talking about any ol' defenses either. We're talking about the best d's in the country. Running the ball usually only works when you can pass also. Unless you're playing UCLA.

Crunch is not JS. Not to contradict myself but if he was it would be the most mindblowing thing I've ever seen and would be the biggest recruiting surprise ever. Saying all that he isn't.

boy I hope it isn't true because we needed this kid bad. I don't tjink he is the best QB out there, matter of fact I am not sure he is even in the top 5 or ten, but he will attract recruits better than any other recruit. I would rather have him and the big name guys he will attract than most other qb's on the list
