Why wouldnt we want him he is possibly the best qb in this class besides Heaps. I just dont see Bray ending up being a great sec qb early and that is what our fans want right now (don't get me wrong he will be good) but I don't think he will be better than Scroggins. I would much rather have Scroggins but if we dont I think Bray would still be a good qb for us I just dont think that we would be as good with him as we would if we had Scroggins.

I don't want Scroggins. He made his choice. We begged him to come here, and the staff lost a couple of QB propects waiting on him to decide. That could've ruined our QB class. Luckily, Bray came outta no where. He wants to be a Vol. Scroggins made his choice. He can now waste away behind the shadow Matt Barkley and the '11 and '12 stud QBs that USC will recruit over him...

Was Scroggins an EE?

The reason I ask is because if Bray is an EE and Scroggins isn't, then we could get Bray in here in January and possibly get Scroggins as a NSD surprise. End up with Bray and Scroggins when it is all said and done?

Just dreaming here.

You really wouldn't want Scroggins? Even if we could get him and Bray? If by some miracle Scroggins flips for us late enough in the year we could end up with both.

If he is here for the Memphis game then nobody should paint the rock. He had his day in the sun with that one.

I agree completely. But...you know like I know. We are not good enough at the position to turn away a guy of this caliber IF he's truly interested.

I would still take him. Maybe he has come to the realization that he is unlikely to ever get meaningful snaps at USC. Of course, there's no guarantee that the same wouldn't happen here, but obviously USC's QB chart is in a far different league from ours.

Of course, this whole thing may turn out to be a bunch of BS anyway...

No "true Vol fan" wouldn't want us to have as many options at QB as possible regardless of whether or not you got your feelings hurt.:crazy:

This year and last should have taught us that much.

We need this guy he would start from day 1. If we got him and he dosent beat out Bray and something happens and Bray gets hurt we need backup most likely Kiffin would make Bray play threw injury if we didn't have a qb that Kiffin didn't recruit. But I still think Scroggins is better than Bray.

No. We will get Simms and Bray in '10 and a stud in '11. That is fine with me...
