What's bad about this is...we were all over his jock this summer, yet Lane ran off our 5* QB, Boyd, last year before he even had a full staff and time to evaluate him properly. Where Scroggins stunk, Boyd looked fantastic...and won the Co-MVP of the Army AA game (along with Bryce Brown).

I've noticed for years that these games do seem to be a good harbinger of things to come. I think Boyd will end up making Kiffin wish he could take that decision back.

Boyd hasn't done anything yet.

Bray has the size, arm, and upside that we want in a Kiffin style offense.

No big losing Boyd.

Why are we bringing up Boyd again?

Yeah um Clemson's Starting QB was a RS Freshmen. He will be holding that spot for the next two years atleast. I think he will stay the 3 as he does not seem like NFL material. So barring an injury Boyd does not look like he is even making the field in the ACC.

Boyd wasn't a 5 star...even if he was, Kiffin didn't want him considering he gets paid millions to live and breathe football and you don't, I take his evaluation over yours.

calm down, its an all star game, with very lil practice time.... speaking of All Star games, when did it become cool to run the spread in these type of games. its pure stupidity.. kids dont have enough time to gel to run this crap, especially QBs and WRs.

I wonder if Scroggins will consider looking elsewhere now that Carroll might leave.

As you can imagine, with the recent news that former USC head coach Pete Carroll is now headed to the NFL, it has become open season on Trojan commits. Two players who have seen their phone blow up are Lakewood (Calif.) teammates quarterback Jesse Scroggins and safety Dion Bailey.

Scroggins is one of the nation's top signal callers and the Under Armour All-American committed to the Trojans at the Elite 11 quarterback camp last July. He was also looking at Tennessee and Florida and both programs have been in touch.

"They all said they still have a spot for Jesse," Lancer coach Thadd MacNeal said. "Urban (Meyer) told me if Jesse wants to open things up and decides on signing day he wants to be a Gator, he'll take him in a heartbeat."

Urban Meyer isn't coming back. Florida is going to go down the gutter if they don't cut their losses and get a real coach. Addazio is going to run that place into the ground. Thanks Meyer for running away when you lose your boyfriend Teblow.

Down the gutter? Have you seen the talent that is coming in? Zook didn't have this much talent on the roster and still managed not to bungle things up too bad and he never had a 7-5 season or worse. Any guy with a brain could get at least 8 wins out of this group, Urban or not.
