Wow. Now you're going back on your entire point. And you're deflecting your flip-flopping onto me? I never said Bray would definitely redshirt. I said that it's likely. You're the one so sure he's going to start. Put up your membership here on it or go on. I'll defer to my signature on this one. You are certainly not worth arguing with.

Give this guy a break and let him prove it on the field. Remember when Manning was at UT he was not the fastest guy on the field..........but he sure could throw the ball. Before you say anything no he did not win a NC........but you know there has to be 10 other guys playing on the field. With the right case he might be the next big star at Tennessee..........

Yea, thats about what I thought. I've said he will likely start at some point in the season...which you said he had "zero chance" of. it's ok if you don't want to bet, but like I said...i'll be around when Bray does start.

1. I agree. I got sucked into exactly what I wanted stopped. I concede it is somewhat difficult not to get pulled in when someone resorts to unwarranted, and intellectually inept, ad hominem attacks.

2. Not sure the post to which you are referring. I certainly don't see one prior to my first post indicating you were in any way "done."

3. I agree.

4. Nothing earth shattering expected: just looking for information. There is a lot of good information here in the recruiting forum and I have no problem sorting through off-topic BS so long as it is within reason. Lately, however, this forum has turned into ethug central.

I know people keep talking about his weight, and it is an issue, but it's not the only thing keeping him from contributing early. Bray is still a raw prospect. He wasn't even the full-time QB in high school. He has a lot of adjusting to do to get to a point where he can contribute. The great thing is that he is getting 5 practices now and a full spring to help him get that valuable experience. He's still a year away from seriously competing for the position. There are only so many first team reps to go around.

He wasn't the full time QB at his HS because they were beating teams by an average of 35 points a game. He was a senior... So let the other kid get some experience.

Yep agree Sab. One thing that will be the telling tail is if they go after another JUCO QB. If they do that, it is ONLY to RS Bray. I really want him to RS. It is in the best interest for the kid.

And how is that a Knock on Bray? Bring in the other guy to run the ball. Thats like saying because we ran the "NU-gun" a couple times, Crompton was not the "full time" QB.

Oh, and he only had 19 rushing attempts for a total of 59 yards.... The whole season.

Just saying he's still raw. And he is. Dude was like a deer caught in the headlights his first day.

He'll be good, I'm a big fan. First time I've changed my avatar in like 8 months and you see who I changed it to. He's just not going to be the immediate sensation that some on here are deluded into thinking he'll be.

Tyler rushed the ball 44 times for 171 yards and 2 touchdowns himself. lol.

But yea he is going to be good. I know he was like a deer caught in headlights his first day. Hell I would be too. But like you said, it was his first day as a college athlete.
