'10 CA QB Tyler Bray (Commit/On Campus)

I hail from Kingsburg Jewbacca, and go to all of the games, the Kingsburg Basketball team runs a full court press defense and a run and gun offense. If you are so big on stats from Maxpreps then look at 3 point attempts by Mr. Bray............since when does the Center or for that matter PF take so many three point shots? As for the other QB's stats...........the other QB is more of a runner and they rotated by quarter, so the second qb came in the the 2nd qtr..............and yes you can have a low 90's fastball and still have a high era....................my point of my post is Bray is a very impressive athlete.......and that my friend is the truth (not a half truth)

Lay off the kid! There is no reason to dog him. Anyway, why would your impression of the kid which is formed by looking at stats which may or may not be accurate, be a better evaluation than an eye witness and reports from the ellite 11 camps? It appears to me that the kid is a good athlete... leave it at that!

1. Your school is not a premier athletic institution. Your Football program is not in the top 100 in CA.
2. Mr. Bray ? lmao--he is a kid with an attitude. He is earned Mr. nothing.
3. 3 point questioned answered in previous post. Cable TV is great thanks.
4. There is no other QB sharing snaps. The other QB played in one game as the starter and got most of his stats there. There might be some plays that they snap to someone else to run the ball. That does not make him a QB. Ironically though, since you are on the point the back up had the same numbers as Bray the game he played. Thus, the team loses nothing with him out. Bray is indeed insignificant other than height.
5. Just no to 90s fastball and high era. If he is able to through a strike with it at the high school level he would not be hittable. Physically most high school players cannot hit a 90s fastball with any consistency but thanks. I did play that sport as well.
6. Calling Bray an impressive athlete for being born with tall genes is an insult to all athletes everywhere.

I will lay off when and if he commits. Until then, it seems I am the only one on here who has not taken the orange pill on this kid.

I still say kid is offered for stars and recruiting others. Which validates every ones Boyd points on this board. Bray may be able to play pro-style in the SEC by 2012. But, I do not see how this helps us in the slightest in the near future. If we really get a guy in 2011 that is a stud then this kid will have to transfer he has no shot. He is likely to not come here anyway cuz he is scared of that very fact.

No, I could of stayed quite it is true normally would. I have said nothing untrue. I am pointed out the facts about this kids limitations. This is about his comments his myspace board etc. And I do in fact work with that age of kids every day in my work. My professional opinion is this kid is a punk. I don't think he is dumb enough though to come here and then have to transfer back west.

What I said about him not being ready to play is the same thing experts are saying.

The fact is that you don't have the first freakin' clue as to what this kid's limitations are because you have never interacted with him in any way whatsoever.

We have stats from combines and games. We have quotes and a myspace page. Which in fact he made as a representation of himself. Could I be wrong sure. And if he came here I hope I am.

Anyways, Aren't you a Kiffin hater? I remember you wanted Hawkins or something lol. Have you been converted?

First off, I'm no expert so bear with me.

Assuming Bray can put on the weight he's going to need to, I think he has great potential. He looks pretty raw, but the ability is there. I think he'll need 2 years to be able to contribute, but in the long run could end up one of the better quarterbacks in this class.

Stats from combines = he just beat out 10 of the 11 best QB recruits in the country and from this you conclude that he can't play football.

Quotes from myspace that may or may not be a page he created and may or may not be an accurate representation of his character, cause as we all know teenagers never make crap up just to impress their friends, especially on myspace.

Based on nothing concrete you have claimed this kid can't play football, baseball, or basketball and that he is too chicken**** to try reach the lofty heights of QB play we've become accustomed to here at Tenn during the Crompton era.

Next you will be telling us that no stoner (real or imagined) ever played football at a college or pro level.
