First off, I'm no expert so bear with me.

Assuming Bray can put on the weight he's going to need to, I think he has great potential. He looks pretty raw, but the ability is there. I think he'll need 2 years to be able to contribute, but in the long run could end up one of the better quarterbacks in this class.

That's pretty much what I think as well. He will not be ready to play for a couple of years, but NOBODY in this class (outside of Heaps) would be able to come in and play for a couple of years...

Spudvol-He has said himself he wants to go somewhere without a stacked deck at QB dude. Being made 2 at that elite 11 is not a definitive beat out of the others. In fact when you look at the individual awards he did not get many of them so what does it mean to be 2nd MVP. Could it mean he was the only kid there without a big time offer? And I never said the other things you said I said you are just trying to argue good luck with that it takes two.

BTW--Peterson > Hawkins

Golden Gun Accuracy Award: Tyler Bray
Best Feet: Devin Gardner
Most Likely To Play Early: Jake Heaps
Most Upside: Tyler Bray
Best Leader By Example: Nick Montana
Best Leader Vocally: Jake Heaps
Highest Football IQ: Jake Heaps
Best In The Classroom: Devin Gardner
Best Arm: Robert Bolden
Most Accuracy: Chandler Whitmer
Best In Any System: Nick Montana
Quickest Release: Robert Bolden
Most Improved: Nick Montana
Most likely to win BCS Title: Jesse Scroggins

Overall MVP - Jake Heaps
MVP Second - Tyler Bray
MVP Third - Chandler Whitmer
MVP Fourth - Nick Montana
MVP Fifth - Robert Bolden

So, here's how the award count went:
Jake Heaps- 4
Nick Montana- 4
Tyler Bray- 3
Devin Gardner- 2
Chandler Whitmer- 2
Robert Bolden- 2
Jesse Scroggins- 1

Bray won 3 awards at the Elite 11. That is very, very good. This is the premiere passing camp in the nation. Look at the guys he beat out for those awards...

It means he beat out the other 10 guys. What exactly was it about his myspace page that is so different from all the other recruits' myspace pages that set you off?

Vader- most upside like being most creative when giving awards at end of school year. Golden Gun is cool admitted. By the awards you laid out he was three. Scroggins was beat and said so. He was worn out. If he had been fresh he goes to 4. And even then Whitmore was more accurate and Bolden had a better arm. I mean this can go on forever.
In the end, If I take my personal judgment of character out he is a decent development recruit. We just don't have time to develop him. And if we get a big name this class or next the eligibility for him does not work out. I just don't see how he fits at UT. Ok now I am done this has to end lol. I am worn out.

Spudvol-it is the Lil Wayne quote about raping. It is totally classless and yes I know it is not saying exactly rape a woman but classless. A QB is a leader not held to same standards as a WR or other player.

Whatever bud, but you seemed to have made a lot assumptions about this kid based off of a quote from a rap song on a myspace page.

And even then Whitmore was more accurate and Bolden had a better arm. I mean this can go on forever.

Whitmer was NOT more accurate. Bray won the accuracy award 2 of the 3 days, and then was named the overall accuracy winner. I don't even know what brought Bolden's arm up, but Bray outperformed him as well...

I have been confused by golden gun vs. being awarded most accurate. All I can tell is most accurate is overall in camp and golden gun is a specific contest at end of camp. I do not know why you just said what you said LV.

I seen that. Bray won the accuracy award 2 days in a row...

Seriously, this is getting so aggrevating listening to you keep saying this crap. Grayson will not be a Vol. Leave it alone...

I am just showing what is reported dude. Sorry the truth is so aggravating I mean no harm.

I can find you about 5 more articles that show that Bray dominated Whitmer and Bolden and any other name you wanna throw out there besides Jake Heaps, but you are gonna disregard it anyways. That is what is aggravating. You won't listen to how well he did against the top QBs in the nation...

You should find them. You have offered no evidence what so ever of domination. Not a scintilla.

Every single bit of what I'm about to post is on this thread. You just can't find it cuz people are whining about his myspace and beer pong:

Potential, potential, potential is the one thing that Bray bleeds. Once he fills out, his arm could be one of the strongest in the country. He already possesses laser-like precision and can see the entire field from a vantage point that very few signal callers can. Bray does need to work on becoming a slightly better athlete in order to buy more time in the pocket and avoid the rush. Right now I would have to say he is somewhere around the top 100.

No PQB has more long-term potential than Bray. He can see over any offensive lineman and has the patience and vision to survey the whole field. He does need to fill out, and improve the quickness of his feet in order to get passes off against strong pass-rushing defenses. Right now he will have to rely on his ability to read defenses and use his quick release to move the ball down field. I say this without malice, but I will be surprised if bigger BCS schools don't come knocking on his door making him think twice about his commitment to San Diego State. Bray could be the next Matt Ryan, just taller.

ASSETS: The tallest competitor has a quick release and above-average accuracy with good velocity on passes.
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: His body has not even come close to filling out and he still needs to improve his foot speed a tad.
WHAT WAS MOST IMPRESSIVE AT CAMP: On top of winning the Golden Gun Award on day two, he impressed coaches and counselors with his accuracy while throwing on the run.
CONCLUSION: He is probably the least known quarterback and the most underrated signal caller in this group. Judging from his performance the first two days I would say he is in the top half of this group as far as future potential.
Tyler Bray - Bray took the Yellow Jersey as the day's leader once the passing was complete with a strong showing in the accuracy competition as well as every other aspect of his game.

Bray is a little mechanical in his drop backs appearing a little stiff at times. He has a good release keeping the ball high throughout his entire motion, and he gets excellent zip on the ball with accuracy. His motion is a little longer when comparing him side by side with a quarterback like Blake Bell, but it's not too long by any stretch.

Bray's the longest and leanest of th me Elite 11 participants, and with his frame, heay be the player whose name is called first of this bunch come NFL draft day. Upside is a word that will be thrown around a lot this week and through Bray's career

In the Elite 11 rankings by the different people who were there, he was ranked 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th. That is VERY good. If you average the rankings, no one would have a higher rank except Heaps...

They are fine. Over there on the table. Ya know, Shades make ya better and keep the sun out of your eyes. What does all that hair for? I know it can be for in bed.

Still no evidence of domination LV sorry. Those articles speak greatly to his potential not seeing the domination part at all. It just is what it is. The kid has potential this much is true. The example below shows good and potential it in fact goes against much of what you have said as him being the clear two and most accurate.

Don't play dumb.

You are not winning this argument. In fact, you are just making yourself look ignorant, and I don't think you are.

Actually my reading comp is far above average and the sources just don't say what you want them to. Read them later with no desired outcome.

I, sir, am objective and honestly believe that we shouldn't take any of the available HS QBs or Bray. They just aren't good enough.

But as far as the talent goes, it is obvious that the people who are paid to watch these kids and evaluate them believe that Bray is worth writing a very positive report about. More so than any of the QBs you are trying to lobby for.
