I'm confident Bray will be a Vol also. I don't know why everyone is so enamored with the whole "big fish" thing. It was obvious weeks ago that the whole thing was complete BS. Bray will be a Vol. Personally I would rather have Sims, just because I feel he could come and make an impact much earlier. Bray will most certainly need a redshirt year, if not more, and will have to work hard to bulk up but I have confidence in our staff that if they get him they will be able to develop him. I think it will be a solid pick up, if and when it happens

Bray, Newton Combo.

Next years QB chart. Stephens, Lamaison, Newton, Bray

How long do we have Lamaison?

2011 Qbs chart. Lamaison ?,Newton, Bray, Freshman

With the full Bray clan in attendance for the first kickoff in the Lane Kiffin era, it would seem that there's definitely high interest there.

That could be a huge weekend with long lasting implications.

I could still see Newton. If we pulled a QB (FR)that could contended next year for the spot, it would be different. IMO, I don't think the staff will be sold on the 2 Nicks as our only options next year. Assuming they like Newton. Which I have no clue on.

The staff don't want/like Newton. Plain and simple. If we did, we would have already at least conatcted him or shown interest, which we haven't. An offer shouldn't even be in discussion.

As for Bridgewater, if he leaves the state, it will be for UGA and no place else IMO.

I have alot of confidence that were going to land this kid. He has alot of potential, will probably need to be redshirted so he can add some weight & work on some little things. Which is why i think even if we get this kid its not going to help that much because we would still be stuck with Stephens & Laimison (sp.) for next year.

I don't think Bray would be red shirt. Even as a freshman he would be an insurance policy. Two quarterbacks can easily get hurt. Not to mention Lamaison may not even get the nod to go in if Stephens struggles or goes down with an injury.

He can always have the redshirt taken off if Stephens gets hurt and Lamaison can't get the job done or also gets hurt.

If he is uncommitted then I would think it was Cam.

Tyler Bray is who we want. It's who I want for QB

From all I've read about this year's QB class, Heaps is the only one prepared to make an early impact. Sounds like all will sit next season. The question is who can impact the 2011 season? Seems like after a year under this staff and in the S & C program, Bray may be farther along.
