I do think Tennessee ends up with two quarterbacks this class unless they get too many other highly rated guys at other positions that they can't pass up. I am going to guess Tyler Bray and Turner Baty/Garrett Grayson.
http://www.volnation.com/forum/tenn...35-vn-article-tyler-bray-talks-tennessee.html“Well the staff has talked to me about a few things that have really caught my eye to have me visit,” said Bray. “For one the chance to play in the best conference against the best competition is one of them. I could really get good exposure for myself by playing in the SEC. Pro teams take the SEC seriously and that could be huge. Tennessee is also saying that I have the chance to play early if I go there. I want a chance to compete and to play early at an SEC school like Tennessee is big.”
When a recruit comes with his family, that is usually a good thing. Hope the visit goes well.
I agree, He has a big upside. The problem is we don't have time to wait for kids to mature in the program. He is going to have to play and play early. What if Stephens went down next year? What then? We need someone who can come in and compete right off the bat.
That is why I see two QB's in this class. Newton would be the logical answer. But who knows.
we already have a matured qb for next year, lamaison.
didnt you read the article numbnuts? he clearly states that he is still committed to SDSU!
