For sure???? When did he tell Hubbs that? Don't see anything about this on any other boards.

Yea, I am confused too. TOS says Hubbs said there was no definite answer and all the fans are playing that out to what they feel may be the answer. "He is just stalling so he can tell SDSU that he is switching ship" type bs.

I mean I suspect Bray will announce his commitment but I don't anyone truly knows at this point. Too much hearsay going on.

Hubbs said he wouldn't be surprised if we hear something by mid week, but Bray is not committed yet.
That's what I said the other day. Bray said before his visit, he wanted to take the visit, return home and discuss what was best for him with his parents and coach. All this talk about him committing during his visit was wishful thinking.

I don't know about that, because Hubbs did say that apparently Bray's father did say that.He may be committed we just won't hear about it for a couple of days.

Yes, i agree. He may very well have told the coaches in private he wants to come, but he will not make it public for a couple days. His dad wanted him to honor his prior commitment to SDSU before their visit here, so I'm sure they both want to handle the situation in a classy way.

I was at RT's (bar in Knoxville) on Friday night and hung out with Tyler for a while. He's all vol. we got ourselves a quarterback now. look for an official announcement soon

WOW! That was a great game for a waivering young QB to watch. I can't imagine not commiting after that show. Crompton looking so natural in Kiff's offense coupled with the fact he had so many freshman playing comfortably shows he knows how to get them prepared to play in this offense rapidly. I can't wait to see this team play once they get 2-3 recruiting classes in here.

Something I haven't seen mentioned yet, but speaks volumes about this kid's character, is the fact that he isn't going public with a decision until talking to SDSU, who he originally committed to. Pretty classy move in my opinion.

I heard his parents were staying until tuesday.. Is this true or a rumor? If so i would fully expect it to be probably Thur. And does anyone know why they are staying till tues?

Hubbs said that Bray was leaving around 11 on Sportstalk. I imagine his parents were going with him, unless they were going house shopping!:)

told gvx he hasn't committed...
Quarterback Tyler Bray told the News Sentinel via text message on Sunday that he did not commit to Tennessee this weekend.

The 6-foot-6, 200-pounder from Kingsbury (Calif.) High School appeared to be impressed with his official visit and Saturday's victory against Western Kentucky.

"The game was so insane," he responded.

If Bray does commit this week, do you foresee it triggering any other players to jump on board soon after, or do you think it'll be more of a delayed incentive in recruiting?

I'm glad he liked the atmosphere. I for one thought that the crowd was a little flat. We were missing some 8-10,000 fans.
