There's no way of knowing that. We didn't expect to have to wait til September for a QB this year.

Bray is going to be a good one. He will take longer than some other prospects to be ready to play, but he will end up being one of the top 3 or 4 QBs in this class.

I used to say this about QBs, but now with Bray and Meline still fresh on the commit list, OLs would be idiots not to want a piece of this offense! Now come on fellas, who wants to be next!!!!!!!!

I am glad that Tyler chose the Vols . I think he will be a good fit for them. I have always liked UT somewhat but now i will be volfan for good , hopefully Tyler can continue to progress and help the Vols reach the title. Make the valley proud Tyler. I will be watching UT games this year and hoping for the best. I really hope they beat the crap out of the Bruins. Volnation rocks.

Everyone in the Fresno area is pretty excited about Tyler Bray going to UT.. well except Pat Hill and the Bulldog Fans...

There is another Fresno area 2010 kid going to UT to play ball next year but she is going to play softball for the Lady Vols...Melissa Davin.

Melissa will be on her official visit with most of the Lady Vol Softball Recruits the weekend of Oct 9th and 10th and will be attending the UT vs UGA Football game.

Go Vols!

Pat did not go after him hard enough. Yeah he offered but did not put the full court press on. He had a big selling pt. (proximity) but failed to really try and get him. What school does Melissa play for?

Melissa plays for Clovis East and was the "TRAC" Tri River Athletic Conference" Player of the Year as a Junior in 2009. 3 Year Varsity Shortstop, 2 time all state Underclassman, 2 time all valley. She plays Travel ball with the Orange County Batbusters. She played for Doug Myers for 2 years and now plays with Gary Haning.

That's great, Clovis East is a very good school.

How can this kid be so slow? 5.25 is turtle slow for a qb. He's tall with long legs..doesnt make sense to me. He is going to be easy to catch when he's on the run. Then on top of that he's so skinny. He's going to get broken in half in the SEC. Dont think its a good fit.

First time he really gets hit, he'll be done. He has to add some bulk before anyone can get too excited about him. He's far off from being ready. :nono:

He's a senior in HS and a January enrollee. He's already putting on weight and UT's S&C program will bulk him up well. The genetics are also on our side, since his dad is huge.

I don't think anyone is debating that. We all know, and the coaches know, he needs to bulk up. Best case scenario, he bulks up this spring and is not needed next fall. By his sophomore/redshirt freshman year, he could have added alot of muscle mass.

when I first saw Manning on his official visit I thought the same. He is also not far off what Ainge was in HS

Straight-line speed for a QB means jack squat in a pro-style offense.
