They are saying now that he may or may not announce today. Not sure. I would like to know an approximate time as well, if he is announcing today.

Nah, we feel more confident about Sean Parker than Dion Bailey.

Even though ND got the verbal from their teammate DE Justin Utupo, the general consensus is Scroggins and Bailey to USC ... whenever they announce.

Either one is fine alone at SC.

Together they travel better to a place like Knoxville.

UT is the other common interest. That would put us as second in line to SC on the dual commit odds.

Exactly right. ND didn't offer Scroggins, but has Utupo.

Most ND fans feel if there is a package deal with Dion and Jesse to anywhere it's going to be USC and not UT.

i guess i just wouldnt really consider it a package deal if they both went to USC. to me, it would just be two highly ranked southern california football players going to their home school

but if they came to knoxville, it would feel like a package deal to me

I could agree with that. If not ND for Dion, I'd love for you guys to take both them away from USC.

GoldHelmet (the ND site I call my message board home) has trouble understanding a prospect's thinking when they mention playing time, and you look at ND and USC's safety depth chart. USC is absolutely stacked and after the '09 season, ND will only have 2 Safeties (Harrison Smith and Dan McCarthy) ... it'd be instant 2nd string at the worst.

Rumor floating around on Scroggins thread that someone from the Athletic Department says that Scroggins, Bailey, and Milton all three visiting this weekend. If Bailey doesn't announce, look for this to possibly be true.

caller wants to know what's up with memphis as far as recruiting...hubbs, half the teams in the SEC are closer than we are...it's not an orange and white town...that's all from Hubbs...Man they jumped all over that caller, hard to believe really.

Don't really care about Bailey visiting as long as Scroggins does. Milton is visiting no matter what. Hopefully Scroggins would like idea of playing with 6'6 Milton. I'm sure Milton is for sure a Vol if Scroggins ends up one. Milton is probably a Vol anyways. Hopefully.

What does this mean? If they were going to announce together, they would both be going to Southern Cal. This tells me that Jesse is still struggling with his decision and whether it would be worth it to pass up the opportunity to play and play early at UT to stay home and have one of his buds on his team. I'm 50/50 on this right now. But wow has it been exciting the past few days!

Probably means were in trouble with scroggins for sure. I was really thinking JS would be a vol(I could care less about bailey,were good @ db, we need a QB). Maybe its time to stop drinking the orange kool-aid.

How does this hurt us that he's taking a week or two to think about it an maybe coming on a visit.

The key ? Is if he comes on a visit? If so we still have a great shot to land him. If he does not visit, I think its a wrap folks! I'm just looking at reality now. Ask teague, in the end, the home team is on the heart & hard to turn down. Imo, the best move for JS career wise, would be UT. I just wish recruits would start realizing that more! It should be, what's the best choice for me to succeed as a player & get to the next level, regardless of "where its at".
