Supposedly leaning to OSU right now..

epic waste if true, but he recently gushed about how great it'd be to play for the Tide.

"I don't know if it is going to be the spring or summer but I am definitely getting to Alabama," said Joyner. "It is going to be great. I am excited thinking about it. Alabama is a program that is not going away anytime soon."

perhaps not if Auburn keeps digging through Bama's trash. not if Saban takes another job.

He wants to leave Miami---

"Plus, if I didn't expand my horizons, I would miss out on those legendary coaches and programs like Alabama."

Outside of Saban, can anyone, who is not a diehard SEC fan, name another member of that staff?

Monte & Orgeron---those are legends.

New article up. He just got an offer from USC and dropped the Vols, but check out how he says it:

"This one, they came like Deebo and they just came and knocked it out," he said. "That's USC. How can you not consider them? I thought I had a top five all figured out and they came and knocked Tennessee to the curb. It's the program. They send players to the league every year and guys are happy there and I just want to go to a program and build myself around successful people and a program where people are happy."

He lists OSU as his favorite followed by Alabama, Florida, USC and FSU in that order.

"they [USC] knocked Tennessee to the curb"---I guess recruitment watchers now have a new least favorite prospect.

"Ohio State is number one," he said. "Alabama is number two. UF is number three. USC is number four and then Florida State is number five."

FSU has underacheived for almost a decade now, just like Tennessee, but they've done it in the ACC. OSU has been served up on a platter for the SEC twice in the past few years. Alabama----it's in Alabama. Florida, I hear that a total prick is running their program, can anyone confirm this?

Really can't go wrong with any of the other schools he mentioned, but we'll see if he's still saying this same stuff once the season starts...

Also, why would anyone consider Florida State at this point?

OT, but a kinda funny story and it makes fun of the gators. In case anyone didn't know for the first part of its history FSU was an all girl school. I had a friend that went to FSU in the early 90s, he was from north-central Florida and he said it was always funny when he would tell a gator fan he went to FSU because they would always say (after they brush their mullet from their face), hahaha thats an all girls school, my buddy said he would look them in the face and say, exactly.

well, I think it is funny.

Might not want to do that, MillSt. I ignored the Nu'keese Richardson thread after hearing he said the next time I see the Vols is when the Gators play them and regretted it.

ESPNU 150 Watch List cornerback Lamarcus Joyner (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Saint Thomas Aquinas) said before Sundays Miami Nike Football Training Camp that he was "most focused" on Ohio State and Florida State at this point, ESPN's JC Shurburtt reports
.

at least he didn't name UF.
