Michael Langston at FLAVarsity.com breaking a story on Joyner's recent trips---

When I got there, I walked through the tunnel and that was an incredible experience and I was telling myself I could see myself playing there. The spring game was a lot of fun because all the fans knew who I was and just the overall atmosphere was very high. I had a great time at Tennessee because they are a school that I didn't know a lot about before this weekend. I was very impressed with the fact that just about everyone on their staff has coached in the NFL or had experience there. Monte Kiffin the defensive coordinator showed me a lot of different ways they can use me, so I was very impressed.

Ohio State and Florida State are still leading but he seemed to really enjoy all his visits thus far. He will be in Columbus April 25th for the Buckeyes' spring game.

It will be VERY hard to get him from the Noles...

"That was an unreal visit because of how well I connected with the Florida State staff. It was the best trip for me overall out of any one I've been to."

"All the visits were great, but as I told Terrell Buckley, you guys are second until I get a chance to see Ohio State because I don't want to make a change or anything until I see what they have to offer as a program. But Ohio State is going to have to show me something different I haven't seen at FSU in how they can use me or how I fit in there. It's to going to have to be pretty impressive and not just something that is even with the FSU visit, because the Seminoles are right here in my own state. Right now Ohio State is at the top still and I'm very much looking forward to the visit, but I can't really say if they will be there until I take my visit to Columbus because I need to see what they have to offer on my trip over there."

All you guys that were dogging Joyner earlier need not comment.

"I'm glad I went there.[Knoxville] I also went to Tallahassee (Florida State), Alabama, and I've one more school, Ohio State, to evaluate," Joyner said. "After that, I'll have all the schools that are laid on the table for me. Me making that decision (to check out UT), I was glad to visit. That definitely jumped them off in my top five again.

"Tennessee is definitely going to be an official visit. I have to go back on that campus."

"I met (Berry) like 5 minutes after stepping onto campus. He's a guy like someone I want to be, someone I see myself being like in the future," said Joyner, the five-star defensive back and nation's No. 7 2010 player according to Rivals.com, who visited UT last weekend. "A humble man, who can make it to the (National Football) League and be a great man. He's fired up and ready in practice, and he reminds me of myself.

"You could tell that" Tennessee targeted him as a priority with Berry's role, Joyner said. "It showed a lot. They had to tell him about me, and the way he introduced himself, it says a lot about how much Tennessee wants me.

"(Berry) knew I was coming and am one of the No. 1 prospects in South Florida, No. 1 on Tennessee's board in the secondary. He asked me how school is going at St. Thomas. It was almost as if he was recruiting me, too."

"Like I told the coaches, Tennessee was one of those schools that came in not late but kind of late because my recruitment was getting real heated and they came in after a lot of big-time colleges," Joyner said. "But they came with that fire. I was expecting to see that atmosphere that the coaches had talked about and that fan base. I'll tell you one thing, they got all that. It was a great atmosphere. The guys who are already there and the guys who already have signed in the class of 2009, some great guys. I just liked it. The whole thing was fun."

How in the hell can FSU be in with all these big time recruits when their whole athletic dept. is under investigation and their coach is about to retire. Anyway, I believe their will be a UT hat on the table when he gets ready to commit, thats enough for me as of now.

Dang, that article really got me excited. He's the #1 DB on UTs board and is going to take all his official visits and UT will definitely be one of them. So, Gran and Co. have 9 months catch up with Florida St. I really like our odds right now. Hopefully, FSU will tank on the field this year while the Vols make a decent turnaround...
