yes TJ said he was going to decide between uga and uf sometime in late july.his teammate kendrun malcome(rb)commited to dawgs yesterday.i don't know what way he is leaning

UGA is out, its down to UT and UF - like E.Hailes - the # of DLINE recruits is scaring Stripling is cause for concern

the guy is offline. (if true) I hope the reason he picked us back up is anything but he's scared of the competition.

He tore it up in camp. He lknows what the staffs about and our depth chart too. He's gonna be good, lean but all muscle. Jack rabbit fast off the corner. My money is on him to commit to UT.

Personally, I think an aspect these players should consider is the value of having Monte in your corner come NFL Draft day. Not just because you played in his defense, but all the coaches that have either worked with or for Monte that are in the league (including the Steeler's HC, Mike Tomlin), are going to be speaking with Monte at length...about the players work ethic, attitude, weaknesses, strengths, etc.

What this means, in a very practical sense, is a player under Monte is likely going to be drafted higher than they would otherwise.

This. People have to realize that our defensive coordinator has mentored the reigning super bowl champion head coach (Mike Tomlin), Pete Carroll, and the current Bucs head coach. Monte's resume is better than probably 2/3 of the current head coaches in the NFL. NFL execs don't take Monte's words FWIW, they take it, do it, and belive it. He is probably the most respected DC in the NFL right now.

Stripling is nowhere near 240. At camp he looked to be in the 200-205 range. He had a decent camp but he was still about the 5th best DE there. I came away more impressed with Miller, Smith, Willis and Copeland.

Stripling is highly thought of because of his potential after filling out....he needs atleast 20lbs on his frame....

TJ and his coach are making an unofficial to UGA next week according to Rob Lewis. Rob thinks it maybe because they want to know where TJ stands with them because of the 3 DE's they already have committed. I agree.

I think GA has passed on him....they can only take about 21 and have 15/16 commitments already..they have other needs to fill
