How would you guys rank these 4 DE prospects: Delvin Jones, T.J. Stripling, Brandon Willis, Corey Miller? I have them all about the same, and don't know enough to really distinguish between them...

Stripling gets a slight edge because of his speed (quick burst). But I would love to have them all.

I thought Willis was a DT prospect.

1. Corey Miller
2. Delvin Jones
3. Brandon Willis

4. T.J. Stripling

The Top 3 are all very close together then there is a sizeable dropoff IMO. Willis also could very well end up at DT.

I agree that is how I would rank them as well. I like Stripling but I think he needs to bulk up.

With TJ Stripling and his HS coach, Buck Godfrey, visiting Athens you have to believe that UGA leads, which sucks.

Stripling is nowhere near 240. At camp he looked to be in the 200-205 range. He had a decent camp but he was still about the 5th best DE there. I came away more impressed with Miller, Smith, Willis and Copeland.
Is that your opinion, or is that what the staff was quoted as saying?

Willis is going to be a DT, but I've got

1A. Willis at DT
1B. Miller
2. Jones

3. Stripling

Jacques told me that the boys from byrnes are way too hyped up that they are good but Jacques believes he is better. I mean he says this not in arrogance but out of complete confidence in his game

There's no doubt in our mind about that...but having exceptional players on the same line as Jac, makes his job much, much easier...just like I was saying about Vanden Bosch with the Titans. Playing next to Big Albert (Haynesworth) helped resurrect his career.

When you have 4 dominating players on the same line, who are you going to double-team?

I imagine it was the opinion of just about everyone that was there.
He didn't impress me nearly as much as some of the other DE's at camp.

GA has 4 DE's committed and a DT who might also start out at DE

Stripling may have been passed on by GA....might be a TN/FL battle

Stripling did not dominate Tennessee's camp or even come remotely close. Mike Farrell is clueless. If anyone at DE dominated the camp it was Corey Miller and then Jacques Smith.

So, all that I have watched is the video posted previously in this thread. Based only on that, I would completely agree. Miller and Smith were just sick. Stripling looked good, don't get me wrong, but I'm psyched to have Smith and would beat the door down to get Miller too. Copeland showed a little bit too.
