The defensive end said that he is committed to the Georgia Bulldogs but is somewhat intrigued by Tennessee.

"I know that they're on the 'come up' and I talk to coach 'O' (Ed Orgeron) some times and I just know that he has a good game and that Tennessee is a team on the 'come up' in the next couple of years," the Southwest Dekalb High School star said. "

I'm still with Georgia. I'm not sure if that's going to change to not, but as of right now I'm still Georgia all the way," Stripling said.

"I was thinking about it (taking visits), but I haven't sat down and got things set up really. I'm not sure if I'm going to take any other officials, but I wouldn't know right now," Stripling added.

I honestly dont understand how any defensive kids are willing to stick with UGA or any kids for that matter. Georgia is whiffing on everyone they are going after and word is they have even approached Chavis they are so desperate.

If coaches dont want to go there why in the hell would a kid want to play for a team that is about to implode.

I like Richt, hes a class act but hes just a younger version of Fulmer and will never take that team where they want to go.

Garner is the x factor for Stripling....but getting Stripling doesn't replace Willis...two different positions. I know TJ is a top recruit and we would take him...but he is not a need position...that would put us with 3 WDE's ...

Orgeron is all over him trying to get a visit. rumored that him and Ken Malcome will be visiting Knoxville with their teammate Marcques Dixon sometime this month...

Seen TJ's mom in China cafe, said TJ waiting to see who will be DC and Garner's situation. He will be looking around and visiting Miami and possibly TN and CEO is all over him!

I have to say that the only thing I'd want Robey for is returning punts/kicks. At 5'7" he's just too much of a midget to go against guys like AJ Green, Julio Jones, and Jeffrey.
I thought that M. Dixon was the PR/KR guy CLK was looking for.

dont be fooled. he may be small but he plays much bigger. very good coverage and tackling skill with a good vert as well. kid can play. the coaches wouldnt be going after him this hard if he couldnt.

I agree about Robey but the coaches must think there is something else to him to be making such a big push for him.

I have no real insider status, but I can say this pretty confidently. Garner isn't leaving. He would have already been gone if he was. Hell, he turned down a pretty substantial payraise from you guys last year. There has not even been a rumor of other coaching offers this past month even with Richt saying point blank he wasn't being considered for the DC position. Should some major school eventually offer him a DC position, he may very well consider it, but as I said, there hasn't even been a whiff of that on any GA site. If Smart accepts his offer, then all the assts at UGA are probably in for a pretty substanstial payraise.

Feel free to continue to dream of all the GA prospects/commits "volnation" has in the bag...
