'10 FL ATH Matt Elam

??? I'm not saying you aren't but a 2-3 start isn't "back on the rise". There is a very real chance that you start the season 3-5. I do think Kiffin can do some positive things but you have to get some positive momentum going on the field before you are on the rise.

When we got rid of Phillip "The Pumpkin" Fulmer and replaced him with a staff that at least knows what they're doing, we became "on the rise."

That is recruiting though. There are 5 or 6 teams that recruit elite talent every year in the SEC. We have been doing that ever since Meyer has been in town and this year could be Meyer's best class yet. Georgia has recruited very well. LSU and Alabama always recruit great talent. Recruiting great talent is a must in the SEC but that is just half the battle.

there is no way in hell that florida will have a better class this year then their class in 2007. check that class out on scout it is absolutely loaded. 10 five stars

We are starting 2 walk-ons on at guard and center, and we are starting a freshmen converted TE at RT. That should tell you how well our recruiting has been. But I do agree that it has to produce on the field. We just haven't got much talent right now. Our offense is alot better this year and our defense is right on par. I don't think you will see the Kiffins and Orgeron waste the talent we are getting like UGA has. They have been part of too many winning programs not to know what it takes...

But you gotta give it to Kiffin and Co. that they can recruit really good.

The '06 and '07 class for UF will better than what they get in '10 imo...

I am just going to say that I disagree with you. I think your defense is REALLY talented. It was really good last year. Your offense sucks because it is very, very stale with little imagination and your QB sucks. You have a solid offensive line, a REALLY good RB, and 1 good WR (Jones) and a bunch of average ones.

Truth be told I don't see any difference in your team this year compared to your team last year. I expected more from Kiffin in that regard.

If you go by Scout then yeah. Rivals and ESPN will likely see our 2010 class better. Regardless I think Meyer is going to have an outstanding class....arguably the best in college football.

30-6 in Knoxville and 23-13 in Gainesville...are you being serious right now?

Well, it don't matter if you disagree with me, the offense is better this year. Look at our rushing stats last year. Embarrassing. Our passing is better this year too. There can be no imagination with Crompton under center. He threw 2 passes over 10 yards against UF and they were both picked off. Nuff said...

Did you just say we have a solid offensive line? Maybe you missed the part where I said we are starting 2 walk-ons and a freshman TE on the OL. Jones has not played like a good WR yet this year. Him and Warren have been too busy throwing their temper tantrums. If you don't see any difference, you must not be watching the same games I am...

I'm talking about on the field production. I could care less about what UFs ranking in recruiting is. I'm talking about what the recruits do when they get there. The '06 and '07 classes have dominated college football. I don't think the '10 class will be able to compare to them in that regard. jmo...

The only difference is Tebow fumbling the ball at your 3 and Brandon James returning a kick for a TD. The offensive and defensive numbers were very similar. And I don't base your entire season on the score of the UF game....especially when your coach said that Monte and his staff were preparing for us all winter, spring, summer, and fall.
