The only difference is Tebow fumbling the ball at your 3 and Brandon James returning a kick for a TD. The offensive and defensive numbers were very similar. And I don't base your entire season on the score of the UF game....especially when your coach said that Monte and his staff were preparing for us all winter, spring, summer, and fall.
Hmm... done with his visits and not considering any schools right after his visit to UT were he had a great time. Could get interesting.
Looks like we will see the last name "Elam" across the back of a jersey next year. Huge props to 77 here... great call. I am hearing that he may not make it to the other visits and if he does it will be for fun. He loved every minute of it and told the coaches he saw no reason why he wouldn't be working out with them in January.
Truth be told I don't see any difference in your team this year compared to your team last year. I expected more from Kiffin in that regard.
I am just going to say that I disagree with you. I think your defense is REALLY talented. It was really good last year. Your offense sucks because it is very, very stale with little imagination and your QB sucks. You have a solid offensive line, a REALLY good RB, and 1 good WR (Jones) and a bunch of average ones.

and you would also be choosing to sit the bench. good choice tho!
First of all, outside of running back, we have absolutely zero talent on offense. Our o-line has two 260-pound walk-ons and a converted TE. Our receivers cannot catch a pass. Crompton speaks for himself. Last year we lost all of our games halfway through the 2nd quarter. That has not happened this year. You must be watching a different team.
He won't be on the bench if he is good enough to play.
Dorsey will probably go to CB most likely. So that leaves just Dowling and Elam coming in to fight for that spot next to Will Hill.
Then add into the fact that Strong rotates his safties in and out all the time like he has done this year.
If he is good enough he will play. That is the moto with the Gators.

Or he can come here and most likely start and plus I think everybody's moto is if your good enough you will play besides Phil.

Anyone else find this article a little fishy? Maybe he really decided to stay a Gator, but even the writer didn't seem to think the drama was completely over (see: the last sentence of the article).
Also, the quote about Kiffin strikes me as "odd". The "smokescreen" that some have mentioned may be at play, or Elam may really be that brash. I find the quote odd because why would Elam, who just visited UT and was impressed by the coaching staff, go off and say something as volatile as that? It just doesn't seem to fit well.
The article certainly put a damper on my hopes, but I'm not fully convinced we're out of it with this guy.
They called Bryce Brown and JJ long before anyone else. Everyone said they were on crack. FWIW
