'10 FL ATH Matt Elam

The rumors on Warchant are that Elam contacted Jimbo and told him he was switching but dont know if its true. I do know that he will most likely switch his commit and not be an EE...we shall see.

I could see UT fans jumping up and down but FSU fans they are in the same boat as UF ATP a coach with NO wins so Matt is still a gator until he decommits. Any program will now have to convince him and any UF EE to wait unitl summer to report because all EE had to be on campus for NCAA mandatory orientation by Dec 21. Florida may lose a few but the kids that gave up so much during their jr/sr years of HS who want to get an early start will be gators. A few of the recruits have already made some statements but haven't seen anything on Matt ATT.

We were second on the list for him, and if he goes anywhere IMO it will be to FSU. He could still be an EE here because he filled out his papers but would have to make his mind up very soon and prolly will wait.

And yes, Elam already said FSU would have a shot because Luc & Joyner

"Elam ain't gonna be an early enrolee anymore. Probably won't stick w/ UF either"

‎"FSU has also contacted TE Gerald Chrisitian from Dwyer"

Check your facts NCAA required all EE to be on campus for orientation Dec 21.

Most of these recruits are going to be upset until they hear all the facts come out about his condition. He's holding a press conference tomorrow so more will be known to the public but what i'm hearing from some UF people is Meyer test came back from the ER visit and follow-ups and he suffered a heart attack.

Like highschool kids are going to care about the ex-coach leaving for something? They want to go somewhere where they feel is the best for them. So just because of that doesn't mean they will stay. Urban is Urban.

and to you those words are untrue that he had suffered a heart attack or defective hartvalve.
