oh i live in tampa, its tough wearing a UT shirt in gator country, for example today. heard trash talking and how we arent gonna get anything out of the meyer situation, told them to wait until NSD

Between Middle and High school, I was in over 200 (not exaggerating) fist fights because I wore UT gear every day!

haha im the only kid in my high school who wears UT gear almost everyday, however I was lucky enough to run into monte wearing my TN stuff while he was recruiting at our school

I would bet FSU for Elam at this point, but who knows with the kid. He is extremely wishy-washy. I will say this, he couldn't possibly make a worse decision than FSU IMO.

its a bunch of 2011 kids, they had a very good season, i see the coaching staff going after some of them after NSD when the focus shifts more to 2011 grads

yea..your right....FSU is a dump. Never won anything, no one in the NFL, no history, no tradition, terrible fan base, terrible location, ect.......:lolabove:

FSU could potentially be STACKED with young talent on defense after NSD: Luc, Joyner, Reid(last yr), Christian Jones, and Elam. That's a pretty nice core to build around.

I hope we get Jones and Elam though. I have a feeling that Elam will stay with UF though. JMO. Hope I'm wrong.

I agree with Terrible Fanbase, Location and Campus.

Plus over the last decade they have done less with more than any program in the country.

And Jimbo Fisher, in all of his years of coaching at all these different schools is living off one good offensive team in 2003 at LSU.

FSU is always stacked with talent on paper. Go back and look at their last 10 recruiting classes. They are filled with 5* and 4* guys all over the place.

Have you ever been to a game in Tallahassee? Been on campus? I doubt you have! I have been to over 50, and it is great. It is not as electric as UT...granted, but it rivals 99% of the rest!

+1.. I've been to Doak several times and it defintely has a fun gameday atmosphere and the stadium is nice. Majority of the fans are great people too.. (Except for when you murder them in beer pong and get to sign "UT 98' National Champs" on their beer pong table..) :)

And the city surrounding campus is sketchy but the campus is nice..

Down here people call FSU the first step to entering AA.. :)

I never have understood the hype around jimbo fisher...every game I have watched him call offense for Fla St I have always caught myself wondering what the heck is he thinking...he is overmatched quite often and makes some boneheaded calls way too often...he can recruit but seems to be overrated as a play caller

I've heard the same. IMO he's already takin his visits and once the dead period is over its going to be very easy. Either Urban is coming back or not. I dont think he goes to UF if he's not coming back next year, because anything after that is just a guess. Once the dead period is over this will be very fun to watch.......Did you ever hear back from Michael L?

KY won 35 to 28, and FSU had 30+ players suspended.

Bobby Bowden himself had to play 9 snaps at LG that game. But atleast the players they used that game were the good kids.

how has UT fared against the ACC in the past couple bowls?

We are 1 for our last 3. Remember when Peerless cut that throat for ya in '98? But I'm sure you've got an excuse for that game just like the Kentucky game. What's the Noles' record their last few games against SEC teams?

UT >>>>>>>>>>>>> UGA >>>>> GT >>>>> FSU
UT >>>>>>>>>>>>> USCjr >>>> Clemson >>> FSU

Like I said, we play big boy football in the SEC...

And I would like to see the Noles match up with Kentucky this year...
