'10 FL ATH Matt Elam

I don't agree, ONLY b/c Elam and Christian will go to UF. This is 2 of his HS teammates. Clark has wanted to come to UF for a while now. CLK will get a visit, obviously, but I think he sticks with UF in the end.

Elam will most likely not be a vol, but he will not be a gator either. he will be a nole IMO. We have a better shot at Clark than what your thinking.

Sounds like Clark wasnt to serious about UT, just heard he said he's still firm to Florida.
Think he's saying the "PC" thing atp because he's in a odd place.....UF wants him but they offer Ace so if he takes these trips and Ace commits he won't have a spot come signing day....UT seems after him but what happens if some of the higher targets come into fold ie wright, robey, dorsey, hunter etc then the numbers may leave him w/o out a spot since UT may bring in 4 more ol and maybe few for DL/LB so I think his mouth got a little ahead of him before letting this playout.

If we spank Va Tech tomorrow night and EB does what he should and announces for the draft shortly thereafter then the next month morphs into a different complexion. CLK has a much better package to work with if those two items take place, especially for recruits for our defensive backfield.

How do you know about CLK's package?

The fact that he isn't an ee anymore makes me think that #7/#8 will have plenty of time to make up any lost ground and Elam will be a gate. However, if I was Elam, I would commit to UT in a heartbeat, especially with JJ in hot water.

need you to explain that last remark.JJ in hot water???
i've been keeping up with everything that i can find about Ten. and have not seen anything about JJ.

He is 2 and 3/4 strikes deep after his freshman year in a 3 strikes and you are out system.

There are more incidents than have been reported with him. Hopefully his religious fervor is legitimate and he is on the straight and narrow now. If his sophomore year was like his freshman year off the field he will not last to be a junior.

Elam is a SS...OLB...Jackson is a FS/SS/CB. They are not playing the same spot. Dixon is a FS/SS/CB that is who might be interested in that. But your original point is in error.

I never said he would play olb...SS and OLB are the positions he can play. He is not a CB. Jackson can play CB. Thus I said Elam is a SS...OLB...generally that means I think he is a SS but can play OLB.

Elam SS/Jackson FS would have worked as well....instead you gave them each different positions like were gonna move them around. none the less you are correct in his original point is in error.

Just was informed by a very reliable source that A recruit committed to Florida at the Under Armour Game said he is leaving Florida, going to Florida State. TIFWIW

We did move Jackson around. He played at CB first part of spring until we realized we had no one who could play FS. Kiffin did not think he was ready for FS, said he needed to put on weight for the spot. We honestly have no one who can play FS other then Jackson. Elam would be huge but we do have Myles to play SS. I am glad you are concerned with the way I say things.

Well we know it isn't Matt so if its true then im going with Dorsey or Riggs, but im sure Riggs wants out of Joyner's shadow.

The way I worded it was confusing lol. What I meant to say was a recruit, not Matt Elam, who is committed to Florida, and is currently at the Under Armour Game said that Matt Elam is leaving Florida and going to Florida State.

That is a very different statement, but sounds kind of unreliable. Kind of like Elam told a guy who told another guy who told his dog then you kidnapped the dog...

I like Myles at SS. Hug it out?:pardon:

No I should have just said "Elam" instead of "He" in the first one...samething. The person I heard it from is Warchants #1 Mod and wouldnt say that unless he heard it from the kids mouth.

The Mod that gave me the info about Clark and Elam is real close to Jack(PBD HC) and he stated that Elam is trying not to stay the extra semester and waiting until FSU opens for biz Monday to get cleared for early enrollment. Many gators don't see it coming, but him stating that Matt hadn't spoken to Meyer was a tell all for me.

Oh well. I'd love to land Elam but if he lands at FSU instead of UF that is the next best thing; takes him away from UF and strengthens a UF rival that UT never has to play. Would've been awesome to see him and JJ on the field together in Orange though.
